ZERO STARS...HORRIBLE!! Theres always a line & you have to wait forever. We have reserved vehicles only to arrive and have them tell us that the vehicle we needed wasnt available and then had to wait hours to get something comparable. Today was the last straw. The girl who took my call at 10:30 scheduled us for an 11:00 appointment to get a hitch installed. She told me she checked and they had the equipment in stock. My husband got there at 11; there was no appointment scheduled - no one was even available to install - and they told him they didnt have the equipment in stock....but they somehow made time to charge our card for the services! This store is the definition of incompetence!! Were on our way to the Belmont & Kedzie location who actually checked to make sure that there was someone on the clock who could do the installation.

This location is one of the few in Chicago that installs trailer hitches, it is also the only U-Haul in a wide proximity. the manager Alphonso, was handling my Hitch install along w/ customers rentals. he handled everything smoothly during the most hectic of times. while installing my hitch, an electrical issue arose. after fixing it, i returned the next day to finalize the electrical work on my vehicle. Alphonse, once again, came through and didnt charge me extra for labor, and on top of that, it was completed w/ in 15 min. due to its location aka lack of other U-hails in the area, maybe dont expect the fastest of services, but you can rely on quality help and this location to go the extra mile in a time of need. i definitely recommend. great experience

The staff was rude, made us wait while they spoke to another uhaul on the phone for 30 min, and tried to refuse to reverse our contract when I decided that I wanted insurance. They also double charged me. This place is out in BFE and NO ONE will answer the phone (Ive called several days at different times) so I guess now I have to go out there. This has been the worst Uhaul experience of my life.

I ordered a trailer online and I was sent a confirmation email indicating that it was a 24-hour rental for a 5 by 8 trailer at this location for $18.95. When I went to pick it up they tried charging me $41 saying that they dont do 24-hour rentals. I have rented from U-Haul in Crystal Lake Illinois and Madison Wisconsin and other places and never had such poor service. This location cannot be trusted

I have never dealt with such a rude staff before in my life. First of all they mess up our truck reservations so when we went to pick up the truck they didn’t have one for us. Then they didn’t do anything to fix the situation. The woman working the desk was completely unhelpful. I would suggest avoiding this U-Haul location at all costs.

Got their 20min after opening 3rd in line went for propane they said someone will be right with you. Just so you all know its 10 oclock now. Still no help my companys forklift cannot be moved without propane but its ok Ill just wait as the employee keeps helping the truck customers cause they bring in more money.

Great, fast experience. I rent from here several times a year, and its my goto rental location. Staff is friendly and swift. Management is great. Could not recommend enough.

Went for propane refill - service was prompt and the price was right. Just be careful driving around the surrounding neighborhoods with the one way streets
