We have nothing but good things to say about Boss Plumbing! Had Boss out to clear tree roots from our sewer drainage pipe and the two workers that came were extremely neat and professional. They explained the process and began work quickly. The job ended up being bigger than we originally thought and Joe worked with us to understand the issues and help us find the best solution. We never felt rushed into a decision and Joe explained everything extremely well. He changed his crews plans immediately to help us first thing the next day and was mindful of our young child to help us quickly resolve our issue. Boss Plumbing worked very hard with very fair rates. You can tell that the owner is passionate about his customers and will do what is right by them. I have and will recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good plumber!

I have nothing but good things to say about Joe. There is a reason he is so highly rated. He is extremely professional and honest. He has worked on our home on three separate occasions; a sump pump install, a kitchen sink hookup (we originally had a different plumber come to hook up the sink, he told us we needed way more work than what was needed, called Joe because things didnt sound right, and he came and did the install for half the cost on the same day), and to check on some frozen pipes. He is honest explains what he is doing every step of the way and when it is and isnt necessary to have repairs done. Would definitely recommend Joe for any plumbing needs!

I am just finishing a remodeling project for our master bath / bedroom and dealt with many of the sub-contractors as part of the project. I would share with you that Joe Cohn and his employees did an excellent job with regards to our plumbing requirements for the project. They were TIMELY, PROFESSIONAL, and performed their work with GREAT CRAFTSMANSHIP. The principal, Joe Cohn was especially accommodating when we were hit with a "curveball" from another subcontractor. I had a great experience with Joe. I called in the morning, he was over within the hour, the problem was fixed easily and quickly. Fortunately the issue wasnt major but I could tell that had it been, Joe would be honest and fair, and just as willing to get it resolved in the most professional way. He was super personable and a pleasure to work with. I wasnt expecting such a fast response and solution and I was so grateful that he was a go-getter to get the problem resolved. We had three emergencies over past several years. Boss took advantage of the situation and charged ridiculous amounts. I was o I have also heard several comments in town about how he treats women. Just beware. His work is fine and quick, but his professionalism and pricing has a lot to be desired. good luck in chicago, maybe they are more tolerant of this behavior, but the suburbs do not deserve it. I complained in text to Joe, and no response so far within the day.

We noticed our water heater was leaking one night and we called Boss Plumbing. Joe answered during the evening, after business hours and explained what was happening with the problem. He then came out the next morning, on time, and installed a new one within an hour and a half. He then told us about a leaky faucet, and rather than charging us for it, he told us how to fix it. Overall, Boss plumbing was very easy to work with, and I highly recommend their services.

Great experience! We had a clogged sink drain, and they squeezed us in that same day. When they arrived, the clog had magically resolved itself. We think the drain pipe might have been frozen. They checked it out quickly and found no problems, so they were kind enough not to charge us. We will definitely call them again if we have any further issues!

Very happy! While these guys are not the cheapest if you are looking for quality you can rest assured they know their stuff and will fix the issue the right way. Weve used them three times on three separate issues. They were prompt, responsive and also helped me understand the root issue with a plumbing problem we had (which is now fixed).

We recently purchased our first home and from the time we were negotiating with seller until we finally closed, Joe was flexible, upfront with costs, and a quick communicator.
