Unfortunately, MediaCom is currently my only option for cable internet. But they have the WORST customer service of any company I have ever worked with in my entire life. Ive lost days at work because I had to stay home for their serviceman. On more than one occasion the serviceman has arrived expecting to install something that I never ordered, and I I am told it was not necessary for him to come at all. I have been signed up for packages I never wanted because their telemarketer lied to me, and then when I call to resolve it, Im told its cancelled but it shows up on my bill again, and I have to call month after month. I stay on hold sometimes for up to 30 minutes.
Crappy internet service but unfortunately its my only option where I live. They installed a modem/router. Didnt write down the routers wifi password or give it to my friend at all. They just connected the router I already had to it and now my wifi goes in and out and barely works. I pay for 250 mb/s down and only get about 30-50.
Best cable service in town
