Continues to be the worst experience I have ever had with any company. They are not knowledgeable and certainly not expedient. We have had a technician out multiple times to take care of our poor internet service and each one has given us a different answer to a problem that has never been confirmed or solved. This is all if you ignore the extremely poor customer service. How can you even try to contact the company when you end up on the phone waiting for 10 minutes for someone to answer and then you get continually transferred to someone else. When you finally reach a "knowledgeable" person all they want to do is set up another technician visit. Why cant we be given an answer or anything more definitive? It doesnt make sense for us to continue paying for a service that we can hardly use. FYI: not all internet problems can be solved by restarting your router.
Dont do it unless you want the worst experience you could ever imagine. Had their service for over 4 years and had to deal with outages, rude customer service and management time and time again . They act as though they are doing you a favor. Havent had service for 3 weeks and they have re- scheduled 4 times. I finally cancelled service and management couldnt care less . I am disabled and have only my cell phone to handle my business and emergencies. This should be criminal.! If you want poor service and dont give a damn attitude then this is the provider for you. On top of everything else they say they cant stop charging me until I drive over 20 miles and turn in my equipment. Wrong,wrong, wrong!! Any attorneys want to wade into this??
Yesterday, March 10th, Mediacom dug up my yard to do something with their cable. Okay, no problem until my cable went out on all my TVs. Tevo is not working either. I also cant access the internet!!!! In short, I have no service what so ever! I made 2 calls to Mediacom. The first appointment they have available is March 20th!! The "customer service" reps acted as though I was being unreasonable regarding the length of time I would have to wait. I am considering other venues to persue. I am unable to pay my bills as they are paid online,which I cannot access!!! RIDICULOUS!!!
Waited Five and half hours for them to show up. Then I called and they say they wont be able to make it that day and best they can do is reschedule me for 2 days later. Would have been nice to know they wouldnt show before wasting my Christmas Eve at home waiting and now since we dont have internet we cant Skype family. Thanks alot Mediacom
Free at last free at last. Im so glad to be rid of this company. I spent a year on the phone with tech support, had about 8 different service people in my home, and had to pay $55 dollars a month in taxes and fees over the $79.00 a month I was charged for the actual service, and the internet only only worked 30 to 40 percent of the time.
This is the worst cable provider I have ever had... landlords BEWARE they will destroy your property with poor installation. I have 10 separate black cable wires wrapped around my home... they do NOT check with the property owner before installation.
They got me great internet at a great price the people who come out are so nice just the best
