Simply put, Comcast provides great service but TERRIBLE customer support. Mediacom has great customer support but weak service in this area. Would love the speed, quality, and reliability of Comcast s service with the customer support provided by mediacom. Getting fed up with how poor mediacoms service is in northern IL. Its not about speed, you can always upgrade. It has to do with reliability.

Mediacom shares the same server with Comcast. Outages are expected .. when i have an issue with service I call they reset the modem and Im good. With all the flooding we have been having in the last few weeks it has been pretty bad losing service constantly but they are working on it and seems to be fixed..only time will tell. Great customer service unlike Comcast.

Considering it took 20 mins to load up the complaint page ya i would say its bad im on cellular at my home this is ridiculous

I have lived here for 2 weeks and lost service twice already. Not a good omen. I hope they improve or Comcast comes here.

Terrible customer service!! Use Frontier or Charter or ANYTHING ELSE instead!
