Constant weekend outage and no ability to contact anyone until Monday. I would love to give this service a positive review and have tried being patient over and over again but I think were done dealing. I understand there are issues that pop up and things dont always go smooth especially when referring to technology but seriously?! No way of getting it fixed or even a simple reset on weekends? No "on call employee to hit the reset button even from home? Just coming in Monday morning and hitting the fix all button does not mean its "fixed". If I were to go through my data logs and calculate the outage time on a pro-rated scale, Id be getting almost a month free. On top of it all, my bill remains the same every month no matter how much usage time Ive lost and I havent said anything. I understand that I personally notice the outage more on the weekends because I work all week but I look forward to being able to use it on the weekends because of that. We finally have the option of switching providers and most likely will be doing so if something isnt fixed soon.
This is a truly terrible internet provider. Our speeds normally max out at .5 mbps download speeds during the day. the only time you can actually use the "high speed" internet is at 3 A.M. and even then it is no where near the speeds they estimate you can get with their service. DO NOT buy their service. Use a Verizon 4g device or similar device instead if possible. The internet heartland cable inc offers is overpriced and the speeds they estimate are very overstated. The cable regularly goes out entirely, mostly during the weekend when their office is closed. (convenient for them dont you think)Their customer service does nothing to resolve the issues despite being contacted several times throughout the year.

I have never had any major issues with heartland. We do a lot of streaming and gaming at our house with 3 boys and we watch shows on amazon prime and the only issue we have is when we watch shows sometimes it will have to reload at times and sometimes there are no issues but other then when watching shows on Amazon we dont have any issues. We have an extender in our garage and I use the wifi for when I mow, and if Ive ever needed to call the lady Ive spoken with has been very nice. We tried Frontier for about 2 weeks and couldnt game or stream. We are happy with our service so far and we have had them for 2 years
VERY poor service. The only reason I havent switched is the inconvenience . Any weather at all channels are lost including just hot weather. Channels off or fuzzy more than they are on. I have seen "processing your request" screens way TOO often.I have to admit they are on top of their billing. My bill was do the 7th and they sent a disconnect notice out on the 15th due to be disconnected on the 28th. I just wish they would be this concerned with the "service" they provide their customers
if i could give less then a 1 star i would. TERRIBLE wireless service that is the equivalant of using my phones hotspot, cable is just as bad. We can barely connect to watch anything without seeing loading a million times. You definitely are not getting the speeds they tell you that you would get. Do not buy this terrible service.
Having zero choice in my rural locale, I can say with absolute clarity that Heartland Cables service (4-7 day waits for service?!), and connectivity (300k at best when paying for CABLE!) is absolutely atrocious, and often is not even available. If you have ANY choice in your broadband, do NOT choose Heartland Cable.
On a scale from 1-10 I would give it a -10! Long outages are VERY common. As of this moment I am accessing the internet via my phone. It has been down for two days now and no end in sight. Always given the runaround when calling customer service. (Such as it is) Worst service ever!!
Can NEVER stay connected. MS is atrocious. All they do is buy and their internet from Mediacom and just resell it as their own. The "cable" goes out frequently as well. They also cost more than their competitors most expensive option, Why would anyone choose Heartland Cable?
i had their wireless service and it was just ok. then i moved to a town wherre they were the cable service supplier, and i got their cable modem internet, its great. I havent had any problems. Would highly recommend!
man it was baddd for a while then it got better. BUT this last weekend all weekend long it was out. no one answers the phone. bill comes right before its due and then late fee notices are sent out which is not cool.
One word review is all it needs..."Garbage."
TV goes out every night and no tech support.
