Nothing but service interruption when it comes to cable TV service. Internet works ok where Im at, but have numerous friends in other parts of the city that lose their services at least once a week. I have changed out my cable box 3 times now, and I joined Jan. 20th 2017. Now its March 25th and once again having issues. The lines in the house are brand new, the lines to the house were installed 2 years (2015) before I bought the house. Have been told by the Overseas customer help desk that they will send someone to investigate. After 1 month of no changes, went to the local office and they said there was no issues reported.. really getting sick of the run around that Mediacon puts you through. Time to drop them.. Its getting old.. real quick!!
Frustrating, my question was not answered as I was not allowed to speak to a representative of the Mediacom cable company because their automated call center did not have selection that was related to my query and no option to speak to a human representative that could point me in the right direction to resolve my issue, seriously considering going to another provider so I wont feel like a unimportant customer when trying to ask a question about my service that isnt on the automated answering service which is the only # listed to contact them . Furthermore I was forced to give 1 star as it would not let me post a review of zero stars which I believe is to high for the type of customer service I have received. Good day.
They have absolutely the worst service department. I understand that outages occur but when nobody answers the phone or everybody is at a meeting, that is just poor service. You cant call the local office just to find out whats going on because they claim they dont have a phone. The manager Chad Wiese is never around when anything is wrong either but they advertise about their great business service. Worst company in Clinton Iowa to deal with.
If I could give 1/2 a star I would. Internet goes down once a week sometimes twice!!! Never Ever had this much issue with Direct. Faster Internet my arst.....fastest to crash. Not that they read these, but if my internet is going to be down at least once everyday this week, how about I just start paying 1/2 the damn bill since I only get 1/2 the service I paid for?!?!
Wish i could give 0 stars.. They show low prices but when you ask for a tech to come install and how much itd be the install price would be around 100$ and the "Low" price is 19.95 a month they charge you 149$ a month... Just a money hungry CEO that doesnt care about customers. (Recommend to never deal with this business)
Worst customer service ever. Dont get cable or internet from these guys. The bum on the street corner holding a metal rod gets better service.
Internet is constantly going down 5 days in a row for me so thanks mediacom I work from home and youre gladly screwing me
I wish there was another company to go to for good Internet service. Mediacom is the best, and that is incredibly sad.
Their service is good, but price continues to spiral upwards
