If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. I first bought my home and was excited to get internet for the wife and kids. Within a week, I noticed my internet kept disconnecting. I would troubleshoot the modem, my connections, hardware, etc. I couldnt figure out the problem. I then called customer support to help with the issue. The 3 customer service representatives I spoke to was rude, somewhat incompetent to their job, and was eager to get me off the phone and tell me it was an error from my end. They told me to keep the modem at least 4 to 5 feet from the floor, keep all 2.4GHZ devices away from it, and it may be my home. I did everything they asked and I noticed the signal dropped at least once a day. Finally, I got tired of dealing with the troubles of the service and brought my modem to the local office. The lady asked why I was discontinuing the service and I politely told her it was poor equipment and customer service issues. She quickly got defensive and told me I should have came up there and got a technician to come out and diagnose the problem. Lastly, I wont pay 30 or 40 additional dollars a service call to have them come out and fix a problem that originated from them. I learned all of this and Im trying to warn others of what I have previously learned. I switched to AT&T. Have had them as a cell provider for over 5 years and never had issues. Ordered ATT UVerse and ever since, I didnt need to even use my Wifi Extender. Everywhere in my 2500 sq ft home still reads full bars. There is plenty more I could gripe and complain about for cable one and praise att but Im sure your tired of reading this if you made it to this point.

First off we started with the smallest internet bundle. After a few months we were told we were using over our data usage limit and had to upgrade to the largest bundle which we were told is usually used for office buildings and businesses so it already seemed a bit off to me. Our bill went from $80 to $250! And for service that barely worked half the time and the other half the time it was working, we got crap service. And when we had to call tech support I had to conduct all of the tests from my personal computer. Why would I call if I wanted to do it all myself? So I had my 9 month old fussing while I was on the phone and then had to sit on the computer for 45 mins. And then I was told that my whole area was having a ping problem and I didnt even need to do the tests in the first place. Worst internet service experience I have ever had. Switching to direct tv

First and formost I have been a Directv customer for a while but when I moved to a new place they wanted to charge a ridiculas charge for my dish. Anyways, so I had to switch to cable one. I asked all sorts of questions to the rep and said I would be receiving a large package with a bundle deal and that I could use my own modem and router. Well when the tech guy came he said I had to use their router and pay extra monthly service for it, and regardless whether I used it or not I would still be charged. Second, turns out my cable package didnt come with all the channels which I was told would and the service agent said they would charge extra for more channels. So really think about this agency, they are not very communicative and highly decieving! Good luck.

So glad I finally got to cancel service and had other options. Their prices are outrageous, I signed up for AT&T and I have faster internet and a much lower cost (after the special promotion period). Also, I dropped off my modem was told I would be taken off of auto draft that may contract was completed. I was told I would be refunded for the partial unused month. Of course they drafted anyway at the end of the month. Then when I called to get it refunded sorry you will have to wait for a check in the mail in a month. Garbage company, insane prices, use any other company if you can.

Weve had CableOne for 3 years, just the internet, and are switching to ATT internet and DirectTV. Ever since they changed to the boxes the internet has been awful! Never a steady connection and we cant even get it on our front porch. We have had great customer service and connection service with ATT. We went to take our modem back Monday because their site said they would be open and were closed. Also, thought we would be able to return the modem at a different office but she was incredibly rude in Gulfport and said she could not help us either.

Horrible service. Had to wait all weekend to switch out my router, only to drive to the Long Beach office, and find out theyre closed on Mondays too! The website says theyre open everyday but Saturday and Sunday. Who runs a business that has a three day weekend, every week! Now because their business is closed on Monday, mine has to be closed too. UNBELIEVABLE!! Certainly will be switching ASAP!

The staff was nice on this past visit, but I loathe Cable ONE. I have had terrible customer service experiences with them in the past, and I am thrilled to say I have finally dropped their Cable tv service. I still carry their internet service which I suppose is doing fine. My recommendation is to stay away from Cable ONE and not give them a dime of your money if you dont have to.

Worse customer service ever! I will never have cable one as a service provider! I was scheduled for a morning appt after waiting a week to have my service transferred when I called to see how much longer it would be the agent said I was scheduled for a afternoon appt. I only have one day off and it was wasted waiting on this horrible company. Directv here I come!

Just started about a month ago and I just get internet, no cable TV service. The internet service has been great so far! No complaints. The technician that installed the internet service was courteous and helpful. I had terrible internet service with AT&T and switched to Cable One. Im happy with the switch!

Absolute worst! Internet has been down for about a week, get a service appointment. After 3.5 hours of waiting they call when I am in the bathroom, call back and speak to someone in under 5 minutes, its too late, the technician is already on the next call. All while I had been home the whole time. Never again!

Made an appointment to upgrade current services; after all, youd think Cable One would want more money from any customer, right? Well, i made an appointment and they were a no show. I guess they dont understand that people need to work to pay their cable bill. Nice job Cable One.
