When I moved to Arizona a few years ago I decided to get a storage unit at this location to store the things I wasnt able to bring with me. Last time I was in town I decided to pick up a few things. It was freezing outside and of course I forgot the code to my lock. Luckily, Mike was working and was a huge help getting rid of the lock and getting me set up with a new one. This time around, I moved back to the area and once again have more than enough stuff to put back into storage. The people at this location are wonderful. Went in the other day and wasnt able to get the stuff out of my car so I stopped by the office. Derrick was kind enough to give me a hand. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone. Plus its gated and secure so you dont have to worry about your stuff!

I signed up online for Extra Space Storage in Vernon Hills and the following day I was promptly followed up by a phone call from Justin. I gave him a call back and he was extremely helpful in helping me set up my new storage unit! He was very honest and patient with me and my mother while we were trying to navigate this process. I would also like to give a shout out to Marty who answered a lot of questions I had over the phone and helped me set up an appointment to come in and arrange a time to look at my unit. Thanks guys! Im so happy with how easy this process was, I will definitely recommend Extra Space Storage in Vernon Hills to a lot of my friends!

We had reserved a unit at another storage facility right down the street but we had a bad experience with the manager, she was very rude and left me not sure I wanted to use them. On the day I was to go pay for the unit, I decided to see if there was another option and was there. I not only found one for 15.00 less per month, not even factoring the promo the was being run but I found a manager in Mike who was wonderful. He was polite, interested in helping us and very personable. Customer service is important and Mike is at the head of the class when it comes to this. I would definitely refer any one that needs storage to go there because of him

My experience with this location of Extra Space Storage started out very badly. They canceled my space because I hadnt moved in yet and thought it was available. I learned this when I arrived with my moving crew. They eventually determined why the error occurred, corrected it, and gave me a credit. But still! However, through my dealings with them this past year, I feel their customer service skills are outstanding. The current associates at this location have gone above and beyond and Ive been very happy with their service. In addition, the units are very clean, unlike other storage places that have mice. Ahhh! So yes, I recommend them.

Justin was very helpful today! Nathan and I just relocated from the DC area and needed storage for some of our belongings while we settle into the area. He was informative and answered all of our questions related to security, access to our unit, and more! The property was clean, organized, and clearly well-cared for. I really appreciate the time he took to lease us a more convenient unit that is closer to the door in the climate controlled building. In a transition from one city to the next that has been a little hectic, Justin has made this aspect of it painless.

The people are nice, but our storage flooded and ruined 3/4 of our things. Luckily we got insurance, but it didnt cover nearly the damaged caused and it doesnt replace the boxes of memories it destroyed. It also took more than a month to get an answer from the insurance company and we had to pester them for an update. Also, upon moving out we found mouse droppings all over our unit. Then as we opened the boxes we found the live mouse living in one of my sons baby shoes!!!! For $135 per month, I would have expected a clean and dry storage. Should have went to Uhaul.

We had an amazing experience at the storage in Vernon Hills today. My cousin had to store her belongings that were transferred from overseas in a large container and had to be unloaded from the truck into the storage unit within 2 hours. Marty Schooley, the assistant store manager that was on site, did an amazing job helping us. He really went far beyond his duties, took care of every step of the process, stayed after his normal hours to ensure that everything was done right and we were taken care of. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Eugene.

I have worked with Extra Space Vernon Hills a lot over the past couple of years. Recently the location has changed facility managers. Mike the new manager is beyond great! Mike and his staff are very detailed oriented and insure that the facility is well kept, the customers are taken care of correctly and that any issues are resolved immediately. I cannot say enough about the positive changes that have taken place over at Extra Space Vernon Hills. If you are in need of a storage unit, in my opinion, Extra Space Vernon Hills is the place to go!

Extra Space Storage Vernon Hills Customer Service is beaten by none. The Manager Justin and Assistant Manager Marty made my storage experience a pleasure. I have rented units from other facilities with only horror stories as memories. Justin was able to answer all my questions and able to direct me to what type of unit would best serve my needs. He was very patient and considerate. I would recommend Extra Space Storage Vernon Hills to anyone in search any type of storage need. The staff at this facility are truly amazing!!!

This facility is very well-maintained and is exactly what I needed. The facility itself has easy-to-access units with plenty of lighting and available loading carts. I have never been there when Ive seen more than one other unit renter, so I am free to organize my items in peace. The workers are friendly and knowledgeable. The pricing, while somewhat high, doesnt seem to be out of line with the competition. Bottom line: This storage company will suit your needs and you will feel confident leaving your stuff in their care.

Mike Kotlick makes this place. Having used this facility in the past and in need again I thought I would get some prices. After speaking with Mike there was no doubt who I would do business with. Not only was the facility in top notch condition but incredibly clean. He made the whole process easy. He went out of his way to make the experience as smooth as possible. You can tell he cares and is empathetic to his customers situations and their needs. Mike is really customer service driven and is an asset to this company.

The guys at extra space storage in Vernon Hills are great, they are very helpful and friendly and know there job. The corporate side of it is run by a bunch of fools that come up with stupid ideas that just gives the guys at the facilities more nonsense to deal with. Ive been parking and using the facility in Vernon Hills long before it was called extra space storage, always been good people on site to help you out when corporate came up with another blunder of an idea.
