All those other people just wrote those reviews during the same time frame.... I wonder if they were given free rent or something else to pay them to say those things?? Dont believe those other fake reviews!! Find the real ones in other reviews on Yahoo, Bing, Yelp and check the ones on other search engine. I can tell you that finding this so called "great manager" Ryan in the office is a lot harder than you would think! The office is closed more than its open, always with a sign saying be back in 30 minutes, come back in 30 minutes and the signs back up with a new time?? Once I finally caught him in the office and rented this unit with a "Low price" that he promised me would stay for a year, it went down hill from there! First he made me buy a $20 lock from him, after he refused to let me use my lock I already had? Why $20, because that is the only lock he had in the office to purchase? I couldnt buy moving boxes from him since I had to spend so much to move in and the boxes were FOUR TIMES as much as the ones I got at Home Depot!! I came back with my stuff in a truck same night and drove right in... because the gate was wide open! when I was done unloading into my new and very dirty, smelly unit it was dark outside and most the creepy yellow lights were broken and the whole place was scary and creepy! Then the gate was still wide open at night, the next morning when I drove by to work still open and when I stopped after work the next day, still open and no manager in office!! A month later I went into my unit to pull out a box I needed when I made my 1st payment and found water in my unit??? I went back to the office and waited for an hour for this manager to return and wouldnt apologize and just gave me a phone number to call to claim only $2000 in damages? Seriously no help, ruined my stuff, didnt care and one bit about their customer! Ended up trashing half my stuff and driving across the street to get a safe and dry unit from the nice guys at ustorit. I will not be going back to any public storage ever and neither will my friends!

Beware the $17.95, mandatory hidden fee for a required "cylinder-style" lock, required at this facility. By design, its not disclosed until the time you take possession of the rental unit. You may use your own lock **in addition to** this cylinder-style lock, but you must purchase the cylinder lock at this location. Q: Why is this specific, required lock purchase not mentioned until a renter shows up in person to move in? A: Maximizing profit, and fleecing customers. Q: Why did the location representative not disclose this when I spoke with them by phone? A: I was advised that "corporate" doesnt like this to be mentioned by the local facility or by their call center which provides the price quotes and holds the initial reservation. Q: Are you sure I cant use my own lock *instead* of the cylinder lock? A: You cannot; corporate apparently audits the property periodically and gives demerits to the management if they do not have these ($17.95, mandatory) locks on each of the units at the time of their inspection. Its a genius way to generate revenue; until its viewed as an unfair trade practice. Compare our low rates (without the hidden fees); then well hit you with them when we see you in person the day you move in... Buyer (Renter) be warned and aware.

I have 5 big storage units for the last 10 years or so and have been very satisfied with the service, facilities, and staff provided. Ryan, the current site manager, has been there several years now and is an exceptional representative who is always available, helpful and eagerly cooperative in whatever I need. Every month I come to pay my bill in person and Ryan is usually there and available to assist me in accepting my 5 individual payments and always is patient with me in the process. In fact, I look forward to seeing him every month! He is very friendly, affable and cheerful. It is a pleasure to have him managing my property and my business and always nice to have monthly calls from him or his staff contacting me as reminder to make my payment. I know there are bigger and better opportunities for Ryan at Public Storage or beyond and I do not look forward to losing him in Lisle!

I would recommend this location to everyone. If you are looking for a storage facility that has easy access, treats its customers with the most respect, keeps its driveways snow free, this is the location. Ryan the storage facility manager was always there to help and guide me. The easy access code made getting in and out easy. All the supplies I needed were there and accessible. My items were stored for over a year and in good shape. I would recommend Ryan and this property to anyone. I am thankful I picked this storage facility, and I did because of Ryan. I recently switched from another storage facility to public storage in Lisle. Mohammed was very helpful. He brought me to my desired unit to make sure it would work for my belongings. He then went through all of the pricing and leasing information and made everything very easy to understand. I highly recommend using public storage of Lisle and definitely see Mohammed to get you taken care of!

I enjoy renting at this facility. Even with all the ice and snow, Ryan does his best to keep the place as dry as possible. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and makes sure that all renters are informed on the goings-on of the property. A great location in Lisle and competitive pricing, I would recommend everyone to rent at this Public Storage.

Manager never had time for me, was hardly in the office and this place is so dark you cant see anything out here, including if anyone is breaking in? Then when we found water inside the unit we couldnt get any help from managment. This place was aweful, the employees were absent and the property deplorable!

I rented 2 units at this location a week apart and worked with Ryan on one unit and Brittany on the second unit. Customer service here was top notch- Calls returned promptly-assistance with packing questions and materials-contract explained, and the units were clean and accesable.THANK YOU
