BEWARE: this location will spontaneously change their hours of accessibility with no notice except a piece of paper taped on the door. Details: I had loaded a truck full of furniture and driven 45 minutes to find they had closed 4 hours early for the day. It was 30ish degrees, 2 inches of snow on ground. fairly standard conditions for chicago in january. I find there is a piece of paper taped on the 1 of the doors that says "Due to extreme weather, we will be open ... for the week of ...." it described a schedule that was 50% of normal hours, which are already not even long enough. SERIOUSLY? I can manage my account in every way possible online but you cant email me a simple warning that the hours will be changing? The manager, who I had noted to be highly cynical in the past, was condescending with me from the start, basically said too bad. I asked to speak with his higher up. I left the regional manager a voicemail saying that I was extremely disturbed by the business practice at this location. never got a call back. I will say that in the past, the workers (excluding the manager) were very considerate and friendly.

I can not say enough about how attentive Laura (property manager) and her staff have been and the impeccable customer service they have provided thus far. Having said that, however, I can not speak so highly of the facilitys security and technical operations. On my first day there, she explained that they were having issues with the automatic exit doors in the indoor unloading area, and the building engineer was working on resolving the issue. OK, its a new building and there are going to be some issues, fair enough. However, over a four day period I returned on three separate occasions to move in more belongings and the front gate to the property was all the way up. Even though I still entered my code at the gate because it is the right thing to do, anyone off the street could have easily driven in. Granted one still needs to enter a code at the next gate, it is unsettling that this issue existed every time I returned there. Other than that, the facility is very clean (being brand new helps) and the logistics and ease of moving in were incredible.

I had a very pleasant experience with the new Public Storage facility located in Glendale Heights, IL. The manager (Laura) was very helpful and courteous, she made the experience of moving less than aggrevating. The new facility is very nice, it appears Public Storage thought of many possibilities with regards to what is made available to the customer pertaining to the Storage of ones personal property. I am currently renting an apartment, however there is some things I want to be assured are protected from landlords and rental complexes that enter your property sometimes when you are not home. Public Storage gives me that comfort level to know my cherish items are protected. Thank You Public Storage

I have been a repeat customer of Public Storage over the last 15 years from 3 months to several years at a time at a location down the road as well as another on St. Charles Road in Wheaton. I love the climate control at this facility, albeit, it is not designed well in the numbering system. It is nearly impossible to follow a pattern to find your locker. The site manager Laura was awesome and seems to calm a sometimes frustrating situation. I would use this location again if needed and would ask for her every time! I have also referred several people to her. It would be nice of PS to give some type of referral bonus or free month :)

Everything was good except the cart usage if they are closed you cant get a cart. Plus you have to go from the 1st floor all the way around to the 2nd floor for a cart and something during office hours they are not there for you to get a cart which is a lot of walking. But Laura was very nice and the next day I went to get a cart another girl asking for my Id why how do you think I got in the gate and its cameras all over. And who is going to roll a big old cart out of the storage really and the man playing bag pipes in there at night was really annoying.

Laura is wonderful! She provided excellent customer service and was extremely helpful! The units are very clean and I was incredibly happy with what I received. Only downside was being called on the phone, email, and Mail felt almost harassing as they were informing me of my payment that was due two weeks later. I dont mind being informed if I miss a payment but there was no reason to keep trying to reach me when I still had 14 days until the due date. Other than that its still a great facility and Laura really helped me out when I needed it.

This place is extremely clean and easy on the eyes. I knew I was looking to rent a unit, but I was unsure what type of unit I was looking for. I was greeted very nicely by a wonderful woman named Laura. She was extremely helpful and informative about what units were available. Overall I am very happy with the services provided by this facility. Great hours, wonderful customer service, and convenient location. A+ -Satisfied customer Sean S

Laura is always cheerful, smiling and helpful, along with her colleagues at Public Storage on N. Schmale Road in Glendale Heights, IL. The location is new, kept spotless clean, well-lit for entering before & after hours; and during hours carts are always available for storage customers moving things in/out! Hands-down, the best experience Ive ever had for ~ 16 months when we stored belongings at a Public Storage location! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location!

My boyfriend and I went in to check out the available storage units. Laura, the property manager was so helpful. We werent sure what size would be best for our needs and she was able to find the perfect fit. She gave us a tour of the facility and answered all our questions. I have dealt with other storage units in the past and no one compares to the quality,cleanliness and friendliness of this establishment. Thank you for all your help Laura!!

My experience at this Public Storage was always a friendly one. Laura and her staff were all very helpful and made me feel at ease with my move. The unit was always clean and had great security. Not to mention the warm customer service I received. I was fine sticking around a few weeks longer than I needed to just because of that. I would recommend this storage to family and friends. Give Laura a raise!!! She deserves it!

Ive been looking into some storage facilities as an option for when I move and if I had to chose I would definitely pick Public Storage! Ashley was very helpful answering all of my questions. She even went out of her way to show me the property and the unit she thought would work best for me. Its a very clean and friendly environment. I would recommend this facility to ANYONE looking for storage!
