well, when Mike W. was the guy really working there, it was a very nice place to go. because he knew a lot of things about cars, but since hes gone now, im sorry, i wont be back ever. why? Jose in the tire department filled up my tires really well for the winter, and Aaron, a new guy that works in there, think thats him, cuz hes the only really intelligent guy working in there, him being black and all, so many guys who arent white always know so much more about their jobs because they actually work for a living and take pride in what they do, while white guys are all about more money for them and less actual knowledge about cars, i know this guy who used to work in there, Chip L. seemed like he was trying to get me to pay for more jobs by scaring me into jobs i could not afford at the time, replacing the steering pump and the right ball joints cuz they couldnt guarantee for insurance reasons that if i didnt do that my car would be undriveable, just because i own a 1989 honda accord and on the outside, it doesnt look like much, they think its junk. well. my engine was replaced at 100,000 miles with an engine with zero miles on it, id rather have that car than a new one, so, i wont be back, went in today to get my car fixed so i could pass that test at BMV, only to be told they didnt have the diagnostics to find out the problem, so they told me to go home ,look through the list BMV gave me and dismissed me just cuz im a girl, they think im dumb. im 62 . wasnt born yesterday, so i went to a place on the same street across from it, made an appointment and it will be fixed tomorrow so im sure ill pass, plus he was nice enough to process a car care credit card for me too, and i can afford that, plus hes nicer too, not into snobs looking for pats on the head and more money, i prefer honest service and decency, he may have a smaller business but i prefer that, wont go to Levin again.ever. youre welcome, Levin, cuz before i left you got a free cleanup job in the girls bathroom, i scrubbed the toilet, cleaned up the sink and cleaned the toilet seat, wont be back. i actually did something instead of talking about it.

My wife took her Kia Rio in for a tire rotation and balance. They called her saying that one of the tires was wearing unevenly 3/32 tread left and another had a broken belt (not covered under warranty). They wanted her to purchase two new tires and get an alignment. I picked the car up and took it over to Thomas Kia for a second opinion. Thomas Kia checked twice using two different mechanics and confirmed that the alignment was correct and none of the tires needed to be replaced. Best part of the whole experience, when I went to pick the car up I noticed on Levins copy of the paperwork that there was a note that the front right tire was missing a lug nut (interesting, because I just put 4 brand new ones on) when the sales person saw me looking he quickly threw the paper away. I took the hub cap off when I got home a true to the paper the front right wheel was missing a lug nut and the other 3 they had put on were all different sizes. Ended up purchasing new lugs. Levin is very condescending in their treatment of customers and I do not recommend using them.

Brought a tire and wheel in to have a slow leak fixed. When I went to pick up my tire....the wheel was bent. It was not bent when I took it in. The person tried to tell me that my wheel was bent when I brought it in. I asked to speak the manager, who stated my wheel was bent when it was brought in. I asked once more to speak to someone with more authority as this wheel was not bent when it was brought in. Out comes some auditor person who reviews tape to find that the wheel I brought in was indeed NOT BENT when it arrived. However upon picking it up you could see the damage...even on the cameras. I can live with the idea of bending my wheel...and telling me they did so and that they would be replacing it. I can not live with the many people that denied this was a problem from the get go...and to be told I must have hit a pot hole and not known about it. I am told the wheel is being ordered and replaced with a new wheel. However, it should not come to this. If if was damaged when it was brought in....they should have noted it.

If you value your car, wheels, tires, or hard earned money, DO NOT go to Levin Tire. I replaced my performance summer tires on my 19" forged rims and Levin Tire offered the best price. Three hours later, I got my wheels back with the tires installed and vise-clamp marks etched across the face of three of the four wheels. I figured I was already $400 in the hole since Id have to pay to get all the wheels refinished. To add insult to injury, I notice that at 70mph, I had a new shimmy in the steering wheel that was never there before. I called Tire Rack and they recommended getting the wheels/tires rebalanced at one of their recommended installers. Another $80 for rebalancing and I found that Levin tire was WAY off on balancing each tire. The guys at the second shop were floored with how unbalanced the tires were. So, if youre looking for a headache and want to waste your time and money...go to Levin Tire. Otherwise, go someplace where they know what theyre doing.

My first time coming here I was aware of my front two tires bubbling and wearing incredibly uneven. I came here to get some budget tires to replace these front two. After waiting a bit (popular place but they work hard in the shop, visible from the waiting area), they approached me and let me know and see that my back two tires had a very warped, buckling belt under the treads. This warping covered about half of both wheels. After letting them know there was nothing I could due about it at the time being due to budget constraints, they offered to replace with some used tires. Not having any in stock they simply gave me two new tires atop my initial 2. For free. The magnitude of this gesture is baffling. Its rare to see this level kindness and customer satisfaction in a business. I will be coming back and letting everyone know this is where they need to go. Extremely professional with great personalities all around.

Let me first start off by saying, I understand most people probably had a good experience with these guys, but nonetheless, it doesnt take away the shitty treatment they gave me. I took in my 2001 Dodge pick up truck to have it looked at, and they told me it needed about $5000 in repairs, mostly in the brakes and the transmission. Not only that, just for them to look at the truck, they charged me $211!! WTF?? But I was not going to pay them $5000, when I came back after they looked at it, they asked me what I wanted them to do, I told them nothing, I said Im here to collect my truck. Later on I had a buddy of mine who knows cars check my truck out, and it turns out all my transmission needed was some new fluid, and the brakes needed new pads. That was it. These jagoffs assumed I was a fool and was going to fall for their games, well they surely failed, and will never get a cent from me again.
