I requested Midas fix three issues with my car: Problem 1- Replace timing belt tensioner. Problem 2- Replace a bad O2 sensor. Problem 3- Replace my rear brake pads so they will quit squealing. What they did: Problem 1- Replaced the timing belt set, but did not properly put everything back together causing me to be stranded 400 miles from home within two weeks of the work they did. I had to buy an additional $52.95 worth of parts and spend about 2 and 1/2 hours fixing their incompetent work myself in an AutoZone parking lot. Problem 2- They actually fixed this problem. Problem 3- They said they “adjusted” my brakes for $30, but the brakes still squeal, and the problem is still not fixed. Long story short, I asked for a refund of half my bill ($1064.94 was the whole bill) and told me the best they could do is pay for the belt I had bought to fix their mistake and $100ish dollars off my bill. When I told the owner, Jack, that we were at an impasse and that I would have to dispute the charge with my credit card company, he said, “Well then I will see you in court.” The owner threaten to sue me for taking an option that I am legally entitled to use. Now I am filling a credit card dispute, probably a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and as many negative reviews online as I can. Save yourself the trouble Im going through, and never go to Midas.

The customer service was good, but when it came to fixing my car they were horrible. I had some issues with my cars starter and I had to get it towed to this Midas. The desk employees were helpful and informative but the mechanics shorted me out on their work. I had them replace my starter and it was fine for a couple days, but when I went home for the weekend not too long after, the starter stopped working again. I had it get checked by another shop in my hometown and they told me that the Midas had used a bad refurbished starter. So not only was my car back in the shop, but I was also out $500 for a fix that lasted me less than a few weeks. The Midas never informed me they used a refurbished starter to replace the original one. The only good thing from this experience was the fix lasted long enough to get me home. If you have to get any parts replaced at this shop ask if they are using a refurbished part, because apparently they wont tell you otherwise.

I would recommend Midas in Muncie, IN for all of your automotive needs. My husband and i recently had our car break down unexpectedly. The staff was kind, honest, eager to help, and got us back on the road quickly. They didnt try to sell us anything we didnt need and just wanted to fix what needed to be fixed. Considering all the work it took to fix our car, the price was very reasonable! Thank you so much Jack, Mike, and Kyle for your compassion to our situation and your excellent customer service. We didnt feel like just another job...we felt like you genuinely cared about us and what we needed! We will only use Midas from now on! Its nice to know that there are still honest, good people left in this industry!

Today I went to one of my favorite places, Midas to have the oil changed on the delivery van. It was also making a front end noise that I was concerned about. I was greeted by Kelly, Scotty introduced himself and told me what he was going to do, and then Mike took the van for a drive to listen for the noise. Everyone of them made me feel like that were working for my best interest. It is so nice it is to have a great relationship with my mechanic and the staff at Midas. Do you have a personal relationship with the place you take your car? If not, try Midas. They will become your new best friends.

When I come to this one for my oil change and inspection they always are honest with me and come back and tell me they found nothing wrong with my car other than the oil change I need because other locations I have been to in the past seem to always find SOMETHING wrong with my car during their inspection. This place wont charge you for unnecessary repairs. The staff and owner are always so personable and trustworthy and treat me with respect. I will ALWAYS COME BACK to this location because of how they run their business. I am sorry I ever took my car elsewhere.

I was vary happy with my service for the past couple days, you guys fixed my car and when the part came up defective you fixed it up for me at no extra charge and that made me vary happy. I was terrified that something was wrong with my tranny and it put me and a great state of mind again. now I can work my 2 jobs without the worry of if Im getting home tonight, thank you everyone at that store. when I cant fix something myself ill just come straight to you :) Great customer service!! wish you all good luck for years to come :)

A friendly face that greets you as soon as you walk in. They were priced about $15 more than another company but to me great customer service is worth it! They also have an oil change program and if you bring in 18pk or higher of diapers or 8 rolls of paper towels you can get an oil hanger for $20 for most cars. Companies giving back to the community is what its all about!! Satisfied customer

Ive been going to Midas in Muncie for over 10 years and its the only place I will ever go. Theyre amazing. I completely trust them and they tell me the truth when it comes to what I actually need done and what can wait. Thats hard to find when youre a woman getting your car fixed.

Unfortunately disappointed. We made an appointment a week in advance. After checking in and waiting an hour. The "tech" informed me they didnt have a filter. They had a week to find a filter and it took them an hour to tell me. So no oil change and never going back.
