Well. Got here...the younger guy mike was awesome. Friendly. Explained everything. I had an 8am appt for new tires and just a simple brake check. He said an hour an 15 minutes max. (Hint) the appt. So i waited. Its now 1030 and the tire manager...another mike who ive watched be completely condescending to another guy working here for 2.5 hours plus just short and rude...tells me ill leave soon that theyre putting my tires on now. Said there was an emergency situation and they had to go pick up another car. Remind you...theres like 7 ppl here working and ive been here watching them for 2 1/2 hours. Mind blown. For 436.00 youd think someone woukd have said even after an hour hey...its gmreally going to be like three hours we havent even started....but nah...since i could have just took an uber to work and came back later today. How this mike guy is the tire manager after his poor customer service that ive watched and super rude to the poor guy working the counter with him...i really have no idea. Are....you....kidding...me.

I took my vehicle in for some work. After it was done the car made very loud noises. I called that day and the manager told me it wasnt from the work they did! (diagnosed over the phone!) I took it in and they put me off 2 or 3 times before I had my husband come in with me. They still claimed it wasnt their fault and made up something that the vehicle needed work on. I took it to a master mechanic who diagnosed and had fixed the exact thing they had worked on. All I can say is they are jerks and idiots not to stand behind their lame work. Do Not let Firestone in Portage work on your vehicle unless you want extra work to be done and large bills. It cost me $800. They have no idea what they are doing or they are swindlers - take your pick.

Im female (likely problem 1). Had both of my low beams go out at the same time, so I figured I should bring it in to be safe. Lucky me, it was just one of my lights that had gone out, the other just had a poor connection due to some cracked plastic (they were honest and fixed it up with some gorilla glue). I okd them to replace both lights since the other was likely on its last life too. Got the bill - $57 in JUST labor PER light. Thats $114 in JUST replacing the low beams (not including the cost of the lights). Seriously? I guess next time I ask ahead of time about the prices. Last time Ill be coming here.

I have recently started going here for my vehicle maintenance needs. I purchased 4 new tires late in 2014 and I go in with every oil change and have them rotated and balanced. I get a discount because I opened a store card, but I also get an additional discount for doing a review. The price is good, and Ive never had any problems with their service. They are almost always busy when I go in so I make appointments ahead of time. I get in and out pretty quick.

One of the best customer service experiences Ive ever had. Blew out a tire while traveling through the area. Got to the store less than an hour before closing on a Friday evening. Place was very busy, but they went out of their way to accommodate me and get me back on the road. They stayed open almost an hour past closing to finish the job. The service was above and beyond expectations. Thank you, Darren and Lee!

I have nothing but great things to say about this shop. I have taken 6 different cars here over 8 years for a range of problems from fixing a major electrical problem, to oil changes and minor tire repairs. They have completed all of the jobs quickly, the prices have been either comparable or lower than I have seen at other shops and they have always fit my appointment in ASAP. I would recommend this shop.

I went to Auto Zone 2 times in the last month, once for a routine oil change, and the second time I went, I was trying to discover where a coolant leak was coming from.They not only found it, but tomorrow, they are fixing it. Wonderful staff, they work quick, and they do good work. Not to mention its cheaper than most.

This place cant even get an oil change right without having issues. I have given them several chances with the various work Ive needed on my vehicle but the employees they hire are very inexperienced and do not take pride in their work. I would not recommend Firestone.
