I have had nothing but issues with packages when delivered by this post office. I watched a postal worker hurl packages at my door like a football. I have had packages marked delivered at 8am and not show up until 12pm the next day. Packages have come up missing never to be seen again. And todays fiasco I had a package scheduled for delivery on 1/15/16. I checked the tracking and these idiots accepted the package on 1/14/16 and then shipped to Crown Point. When I called to check on it the bitter sounding worker said it was misshipped and you will just get it tomorrow. What kind of nonsense is this? I can say I have put up with years of bad service from this office and clearly it will not be getting better.

I had a package to be delivered by this post office , it was lost in post office. i went personally to get it, after going through long line ( only one person at the counter) , i was directed to phone number to call to find out where package is. After 3 attempts i was able to talk to supervisor who promised to find out where package could be but was unable to print ticket on tracking number given to him, so I was told that he will call me early next day, which did not happen. When I called back, Supervisor was not there ,but he called me back saying he is still trying to locate the package. so far no success finding the package!!!

The worst experience ever. Walked in on a Saturday at noon and had eight people in line ahead of me. After about 10 minutes I learned there was only one retail associate working and she was in training and didnt know how to process priority mail. I guess the other retail associate went to lunch. They shouldnt have left that poor woman by herself. She was not able to handle a single transaction in 30 minutes and there were 15 people in line at one point. After not moving for 30 minutes I ended up leaving and will never return to this location.

Dont go first thing in the morning if you are in a rush. The hours say 8:00 am but its more like 8:15. The clerk showed up late and instead of saying something herself she sent out the contracted cleaning lady (who was very friendly). She even argued about the time. From now on I will just stick with the Lansing, IL P.O..

The passport services hour is until 3 pm. The postal worker told us that they are not processing anymore at 2:30. We were in line at 2:33 pm and we had to leave. I think if they are putting the hours until 3 pm, they should not cut off those who were there at 3 pm. Really disappointed with this post office branch.

Every post office has lines at certain times throughout the day and/or week. Yes, I have been in long lines at the Schererville location as well. The only negative about the Munster location is the small size of the facility.

We have a different mail carrier every few days, the mail always come late sometimes after 6pm, sometimes I dont get mail for days, and they almost always mess up my mail and bring me others mail

Hammond office printers were down so they sent me to Munster... I had a short wait but the staff was very nice and I was in and out in a short time!
