WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL TIME. Im in the customer service industry and know how to treat people. The owner here is the most belligerent, ill-behaved, jerk Ive ever had to deal with. I go in there to get an item shipped, he punches everything in the computer, and then tells me an outrageously high figure. I tell him Im not paying that much and he immediately becomes irate- saying "well you want to get it there in one piece." I said yes, how much is shipping- it was only half of the price he quoted me! So i said just give me a box and thatll be enough for me. (I planned on doing my own packing and shipping it elsewhere) He stomps to the back of the store and comes back with a HUGE BOX TWICE THE SIZE OF MY ITEM. I simply asked- is this the smallest box you have that will fit my item? He immediately threw the box down and said GET OUT OF MY STORE! YOU NEED TO LEAVE! I was absolutely shocked, and said Are you kidding? You cant just refuse to service me? He said- I CAN REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE. I said you cant treat people like this and UPS would have a problem with it- he said UPS DOESNT CARE ABOUT IT! Needless to say I am irate and vow to shut this hellhole down. AVOID AT ALL COSTS- I WILL NEVER USE UPS FOR ANYTHING EVER AGAIN!

Needed to get some info about a package that they had tried to deliver. Checked on the website and saw that the store hours were from 10 -1pm on Saturdays. Tried calling the number at 10:10am - no answer - just a message telling me that they were busy with a customer, and not to leave a message, but to keep trying. Lucky for me I had all morning to waste to keep trying to call. So I called every 5-7 minutes for about 40 minutes. No answer - just that stupid answering machine message telling me that I needed to keep trying. So finally I got fed up and after reading a number of reviews, decided to call Blaze, the salon right next door, and ask them to check for me. (They were very very very nice about it) She went over to the store and saw that it was completely empty and the guy at the counter was just sitting around. She also happened to mention to him that I had been trying to call for the last 40 minutes with no luck. After I got off the phone with Blaze, I tried UPS one last time. And guess who answered?! The most pathetic excuse for a business - UPS should reconsider their franchise agreement with this particular location. But as long as I am in the area I am going with Fedex.

Most of you people on here and dont know the facts before you start complaining about this store. I know from experience and living In this area that there is also a ups distribution center down the road from this store, which is where you get your packages if youve missed them. I also know that on Saturdays The UPS Store is very busy on Saturdays because people are too lazy to come in before 7 during the week. I would recommend coming in during the middle of the week instead of on the weekends. Also I use to work at a UPS Store in the Chicago area and most of the time you have a problem with UPS calling a UPS Store wont help. I wish people would think twice before they go and post these rating besides a few of you. I have always had very good customer service and the employees are nice and easy to talk too.

If you want your mail steamed open and the middle-aged matron there to imply you get so many packages that you must be up to no good, then by all means open a box here. Actually, all of the people who work there are rude except for a young woman who used to work in the afternoon. The heavy, blond woman who works in the a.m. must have been a Nazi guard in her past life. She is one of the most miserable people I have ever met in my life. When I closed my box, I put in a forwarding address--they never sent me any of my mail. Stay away!!!!

Ive used this store quite a few times, but based on other reviews here, Ive obviously never encountered the owner. Admittedly, I only use the store for drop-offs, with pre-labeled packages, but the folks behind the counter have always been pleasant and helpful while printing my receipts. Ive never encountered any of the behavior described in the other reviews, so Ill keep using it and just keep my fingers crossed.

I needed to drop a package off on Saturday for Monday AM delivery and the store hours are 10AM-1PM on Saturdays. The OWNER of the store didnt get there till 10:30AM so the store wasnt open for 30 minutes. I had to be in Cedar Rapids to catch a flight at noon and barely made it. The manager didnt apologize or anything. UPS is better than this from my experience. This guy is just a terrible manager

Alright, so I was not home in time to sign for something so I had to go out to the store and we looked at the store hours on various places and every one of them said 7:00pm is when it closes to the public.. We arrive at 6:12pm and the lady is walking out and locking the door and sees that we are coming and runs to her car immediately so we cannot complain or tell her to open back up.

Terrible customer service. There was one person behind the counter who was overwhelmed and unfriendly. That is not my fault and I should not have to deal with this. On top of that my package was delivered per the tracking website but my family never received it. I am now trying to follow up and they are not even picking up their phone. Very disappointed at this point.

Just had a wonderful experience at this store shipping my package. I am from out of town and had my pre-paid label and a letter for the package saved to my phone, not printed off. I was able to use their computer to print off the letter and label. The whole process took 5 minutes tops. The two ladies at the counter were very efficient, friendly and helpful.

Dont ever ship anything of value from this store! "This" UPS Store will not cover any damaged item whether you pack it or if they pack it, even when the store owner or employees say its guarenteed. Shipping isurance is joke! I spoke to the store owner...rude, ddint care and will not tell you the full story. Worst customer service you could imagine.

Were always happy with the UPS store. The folks here are always very helpful and give us plenty of options to get stuff where it needs to go. Theres rarely a huge line and if there is, someone comes off break to help out - weird concept I know. Great place to send stuff when it needs to get there in good time or not by the USPS.

Such crappy customer service. Unless you absolutely need their assistance I would not recommend this store at all. The lady there was rude and not helpful whatsoever. If you need any help I suggest you call the UPS 1800 number, and not bother dealing with these people. They know nothing about catering to clients.
