Horrible. Completely horrible. Ive had 2 separate boxes of COLD medication that says "keep refrigerated" on the box taken back to the warehouse after the driver decided NOT to deliver it since no one could sign for it at my apartment bldg. There was no signature required on these packages purposely since they were directed to leave them in my apartment bldgs lobby - I work until 5pm. I had my first box of medication left in a warehouse for 3+ days WITHOUT EVEN A PHONECALL which they were also directed to do with these packages- call me! Its expensive! Literally we are talking thousands of dollars. AFTER FILING A COMPLAINT on the first box, they did the SAME THING with the second box. And now I have to go to the warehouse and pick it up tonight but only between 7pm and 7:30 pm because I was told "the truck is still out and about until that time" ....then deliver it! But they wont deliver it. Are you kidding me?????????????

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Then when I spoke with the female supervisor about my service, she hung up on me. I called back to talk to Tom the MANAGER and she told me she refused to let me speak with him, that she had sent my package back to the shipper (without my approval) and that she was the top manager at her store. Which is of course a lie since I know Tom who is the manager. Bottom line..until that horrible lady is gone, UPS will continue to provide terrible and unreliable customer service to the metro DSM area. Use FedEx instead. At least they dont hang up to you and lie to you. Also, be sure to hire mature supervisors at your locations, it really reflects poorly on the company as a whole.

STOLEN DEBIT CARD!!!! BE CAREFUL OF EMPLOYEES!!! NO MORE SHIPPING/RECEIVING ON HULL AVE. JEREMY AND ERICA WORK FOR THE UPS HULL AVE LOCATION. THEY BOTH CONSPIRED TO TAKE MY CARD, USE THE INFO THEY GATHERED ON ME AND TRY TO ACTIVATE IT. MY BANK WAS MADE AWARE OF THE SCHEME AND BLOCKED THE CARD BEFORE ANY DAMAGE COULD BE DONE. THE DETAILS ARE ENTIRELY TOO LONG TO POST BUT TRUST ME WHEN I TELL U, THIS LOCATION SHOULD LITERALLY BE CLOSED DOWN PERMANENTLY...YEP, FOR GOOD. AND THE BACKGROUND CHECKS ON EMPLOYES DAMN SURE NEED IMPROVEMENT!!!! IM CONTACTING THE BBB AND POSTING REVIEWS ON THIS SITUATION AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS :)

Im very disappointed in this UPS. Their incompetent drivers have been either delaying, losing, or redirecting (to some obscure, unrelated address with their failed "auto-correct address system") my packages since Ive moved here (3 months now). Customer service and problem solving skills are sub-par. Two-thumbs down. Use other shippers if possible!

Worst customer service in the world. Sooo rude and act like Im lucky to even have their attention. Plus UPS NEVER actually tries to deliver to my apartment like. USPS and FedEx do. They probably dont want to go up the stairs so they keep it on the truck and I have to go pick up my stuff at this horrible place.

the two girls working the night shift are the most rude and unprofessional people ive ever had to deal with. i will be shipping my packages to a different location if i need to pick it up again. they shouldnt be working in customer service. they were both bitches to say the least.

We have shipped with UPS for 20 over years - had ONE problem with damage. They have always delivered on time. The driver who delivers to us is excellent. They deliver overnight to Chicago and Minneapolis for normal price. We are extremely happy to use UPS!!!

Can you get here any later during the day? Whats the point of having the option to PAY for a certain two hour delivery window if theres zero chance for a package to arrive during that time? UPS in des Moines is a disgrace.

The rating speaks for itself. This has been my experience with UPS across the globe for 20 years. Low end service for a premium price. If I got to pick the courier for each package, I would never pick UPS.
