THEFT. Do not use usps to ship anything besides mail. I shipped a $300 Bluetooth speaker through this rosedale usps location. Checked the tracking info. It departed this location at 6:01 pm and NEVER made it to the Kansas City USPS sorting facility. That was and still is the last know scan. This package was stolen from this USPS location while in transit to the sorting facility. Been back and forth with the manager there and nothing has been resolved and they didnt seem to care much on this matter. They just acted like they had better, more important things to deal with. The manager told me personally he would call me back and never did. He also would not own up to it being stolen. Claims package was "lost". The package was the size of a large child and weighed 38lbs. Hey but at least it came with $50 insurance. Although that will not even cover half of my loss. If you are shipping anything other than mail, save yourself the hassle and use UPS or FED EX.

Pros: Fast service because there are never a lot of people in line Cons: They do not know anything about international shipping - please do your research beforehand. They have overcharged me repeatedly because they dont know the international rates and regulations - even when I pointed them out on the website. Other post offices have confirmed that my calculations were correct. Will not be using this post office again other than to buy stamps.

The best post office in KC. I am there at least once a week and everything always moves relatively quickly. The staff is friendly and professional. The best part is that most people dont know about it, so you avoid a lot of the customer-induced waiting you have at other branches in the area.

I been using the post office in Westport for years and have had incredibly bad experiences almost every time. I found this location to be efficient and courteous. Never will I return to The Westport location.
