Claimed they failed to deliver my package, but my apartments front gate was busted wide open and the front office claimed nobody came to deliver the mail or left a package. Called the post office several times and it rang, and rang, and rang until a robot answered and told me to call back later before hanging up. Had to take time out of my schedule to head to the office and waited 30 minutes in line while one worker tended to several people at once. She finally found my package after another 10 minutes of looking "all by its self." She could give me no reason why except that it was probably placed on the wrong mailing route. Ive ordered hundreds of packages before and this is the first time Ive ever had to deal with such stupidity. Looking at all the other reviews on here just tells me that I shouldnt be surprised and I should expect more issues to come in the future. Screw this office. Incompetency to the extreme here. UPDATE: we have now lost over $200 worth of merchandise to this Post Office. Packages are still missing to this day and nobody wants to help.

This is the worst service that I have ever received in my life and I am from Houston. My mail is not delivered when tracking indicates that the postal carrier marked it as such and I receive mail in my box that is addressed to others. The last supervisor who I spoke with was extremely rude, raised her voice and had a nasty attitude. I documented &took photographs of all of these horrific issues and I intend to send the information to the Postmaster. Today, I called Saks about an order that was supposed to be delivered but did not show up. They called Bob Lyons P.O. and they informed me that the postal carrier decided to NOT deliver this item to my house but to leave it at the P.O. for pickup. I called twice and let the phone ring until I was disconnected. DO NOT USE THIS POST OFFICE IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE!

Less than one star..rude and incompetent employees..they do not awnser the phone ever. I have been the only person in line to pick up a package and still waited for more than ten minutes to have a employee come to the pick up window. They have a bell you ring if you need service, I finally just continued to ring the bell until an angry old woman came and took my pick up slip, when she came back she actually threw my package at me and slammed the door. When they do attempt to deliver a package to my house they claim they cant locate my address and return the package to sender. I have lived in the same location for 17 years and this has happened at least half a dozen times. FedEx and UPS have never had this problem, I cant wait till they put these worthless people out of business...

Absolutely DO NOT use this Post Office if it is not a dire emergency. I had the same sort of package tracking problem as another user that wrote a review. The woman told me that she "cant track a package" that has a tracking number. It had a tracking number. I told her that I could track it through the USPS Website but the website is not letting me login. I asked her why she could not track it but the website did. Her response was "Well, we see more on our side than you do on yours. You dont say? I would imagine that would be the reason that I am asking you for help to begin with. They are not accountable for their customer service and they never answer their phones there either. I have never had customer service of such poor quality at any other post office.

I called a few days ago because a package I was supposed to have received wah shipped to the wrong address.. after I called that my wife had written the wrong address the address in which we live in..then they told me they would ship it back to the warehouse sonic could be shipped back to the correct adress.. so I called back a few days later.. and the person that answered the phone was not helpful at all and seemed so incompetent I kept over and over trying to give them the tracking number and they just could not get it.. you can tell they really dont care about their job and what they are doing by the tone in which they talk.. so Im going to go in tomorrow in person and see if they can do anything

I got there at 5.30PM, Jan 4, 2016. I got in line thinking Ill be helped. There was only 1 person in the computer getting the mail. There was a long line the manager never even tried to help atleast get the line shorter. I stayed there until the manager told me that they cant help me becuase its 6PM already and their computers are closing. Me and 3 others in line would just have to come back the next day. As a manager of a customer service, whoever walk in BEFORE the door closes WILL be helped. What is another 10 minutes of keeping the computer open? I will never be back. I am very disappointed.

The mail havent been delivered to my apartment for 2 days. Thats means for my apartment alone over 400 homes that did not received mail in 2 days. Theres no excuses for that when normal protocol for all USPS location is to deliver mail once every weekday. Just moved here from out of state and have never had issues like this with USPS until I got here. The call wait time have been 1 hr for the last few days. Im receiving research items that are a bit time sensitive, should of went with UPS or FedEx if I knew I was dealing with a bunch of incompetent amateurs in USPS uniforms.

The day supervisor(I believe her name is Glenda) at this post office is very unprofessional. I needed to talk to my carrier & she basically slammed the blue door on me. I work at a postoffice that actually encourages carriers to have a relationship with their customers. I have talked to other carriers here in Gtown.and they all tell me that the management there is even rude to them. Galveston Postmaster needs to hire people who appreciate their job and more importantly their customers. Poor treatment to your customers is NOT a good guality to have.

This is the worst post office I ever been to! I went there on 8/12/14 to ship a letter to my husband in a different country. I wanted tracking and the rude woman told me there was no tracking available on Anything going to another country. I told her "thats funny, cuz I had tracking on mine when I received my package" and she responded"well we dont have that here!" So I sent my letter first class mail. It turns out the witch lied, all I had to do was upgrade to priority mail. I think to use FedEx from now on, and forget about shipping through usps

It really is as bad as people say. Not sure who the 5 star lady is, Im guessing shes never had to actually interact with the post office. As others have said, they will NEVER answer their phone. They really should just take down their number. If you go in, the service is painstakingly slow. Both to send mail and heaven forbid if you have to pick something up. On top of it all you are treated as if you are causing them a headache but asking them to perform their function. Guess all the educated/decent employees get snatched up by the University.
