Marissa has been very helpful and professional in helping me arrange storage in KC area. Due to bad weather delaying the move, she was very gracious to extend my reservation. When I needed to switch at the last minute to a different sized, larger unit, there was no problem. The unit is clean and easily accessable. Teresa, her relief helper was also very helpful on move-in day. My only concerns so far (48 hours since moving in), include: 1) Lighting down the alley is too spread out to adequeately see into my unit to do anything after the sun sets, unless I block the alley with my vehicle to shine into the unit. 2) The recent snow/ice clearance (storm 5 days before) left much to be desired, if you are on the shade side (south) of the rows. There was packed ice down the middle of the drive and snow still there out 6-8 feet from the units. 3) I dont remember discussing the rental insurance prior to move-in. I might have checked with my private insurer to compare rates, had we discussed that requirement sooner. All that being said, I still can easily recommend this location for storage use. DLM

This is without a doubt one of the worst companies I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. For the second month in a row theyve made making a simple payment the biggest hassle possible. Call them and noone answers. Visit the location and none is there (during normal business hours, mind you.) The sign says theyll be back at four and its a quarter to five. Go online and they dont seem to recognize any of your information. Even though you gave all said information to the clerk personally last month. Call the hotline and after finding your way through the maze of robotic commands you discover that to pay by phone youll have to be charged an addition ten dollar convenience fee . Looks like instead Ill be taking the twenty five dollar late fee because I didnt pay my bill on time. Again. Thanks guys! I am closing my account with these idiots ASAP and I will NEVER do business with this company again. I suggest you avoid them at all costs.

I made a reservation online very early in the morning (like 3am). I was contacted by Teresa that morning, who wanted to introduce herself and welcome me. She gave me the option of two times to come in and meet the next day. She explained that Marissa would be available at that time and would take care of my needs. Teresa cautioned me not to accept the unit without physically examining it. Marissa was cheerful and helpful, walked me to the space I wanted to rent, explained the locking system and how to access the unit. I have to admit, I was uncomfortable with making a commitment to a storage unit and Marissa eased my mind that I made the correct decision. Paperwork was explained in detail, signed, keys handed over and I was on my way.

I rented a unit for the past 2 months at this location and it was very satisfactory. The unit and the entire facility were very clean. The property was well lit at night, and is surrounded by high end car dealerships and other businesses that lend to a reputable neighborhood. The premises were secure, and I felt like my belongings were safe. Dennis the property manager is very personable and professional -- makes you aware of the extras that are available, but isnt pushy or overbearing. And he keeps a close eye on the place. The price and value were best in class for the area. If I need a storage unit in this area again, this Public Storage facility is at the top of my list.

I have used different storage units before, this was by far the worse I have ever worked with. Whenever I would try to contact them (during business hours) I could never get a hold of anyone. I even left messages and nobody would return my phone calls. When I came by the office there was nobody there. One time when I came by to empty my storage unit because I was moving they were changing the door on my unit. I was not allowed to get to my stuff while this was going on. I was glad that I came by at that time because they were going to change the lock on unit and I would not have been able to get to my property.

I had written a review earlier of my negative experience and was very pleasantly surprised by the actions that were taken by the manager, Marissa. She reached out to me and after talking through the situation, I felt great relief and overall much better about Public Storage. She was exceptionally friendly and wonderful. I decided to store there and the facility is clean, easily accessible and safe. Marissa walked me through everything and was so great. I HIGHLY recommend this storage facility not only because of the great space and prices, but also because of the personable staff!!

I just rented the storage unit last night and when I returned with the truck to unload the truck, the gate code did not work. We had to leave. I called the office this morning and she checked the records and went outside and tried my code and it indeed did not work. She found it hadnt downloaded to the gate system. She was very cordial and helpful. I would suggest, however, that you check the code while they are still in the office to make sure it doesnt happen to you.

Marissa was awesome. This is the second time I have rented from Public Storage. Due to an illness we needed some space fast to allow us to get a family member moved into a care facility quickly. I called and Marissa was great on the phone, She had all the paperwork ready to go when I arrived. Showed me the space, and made sure that I had what I needed. Anytime you are moving someone it is high stress. Marissa made this part incredibly easy for us. Thanks much - Steve

Just rented the unit last Thursday so not much activity other than the initial paperwork and unloading. I can say that my dealings with Marissa (On Site Manager)were professional, helpful and courteous. She even followed up with me several days after the move- in to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. The facility is clean and maintained as well as the main office. Easy access to Hwy 35 is a definitely plus. I would definitely recommend.

I recently needed a storage unit and went to this location. Marissa was very helpful in finding me a unit that was large enough for my items and accessible by a large truck. She got me signed up that day and secured the unit for my later use. I think she made the process very simple. She is very professional and understands the business.
