DO NOT RENT !!!!! DO NOT RENT !!!! This place is full of risk related to crime and management is aware of this with no action. I rented a place for over six months and I was not notified of any criminal activity however my united was burglarized three times instead Storage Mart sent emails to the criminal asking them to stop. If anyone is interested I have been provided copies of these emails from Storage Mart. The first occasion, they told the criminal “we observed some suspicious behavior that needs to stop.” This was when the guilty party climbed into my unit from his unit after hours by propping open the doors and stole my computer that was used to steal my identity. The second occasion, was again after hours when the person entered the building after hours by again propping the door open. This time he entered with a known felon that is known to break into storage units and steal things. This time Storage Mart asked them to stop entering after hours and that they can no longer enter with this person who has a conviction. The third occasion, was when they propped the doors open after hours again. Cut off the lock to my unit and emptied everything. According to the video tape that Storage Mart is not able to provide the law enforcement this lasted 9 hours as they loaded everything in two moving trucks. Instead of notifying me that the unit has been emptied and lock cut off they sent the person an email asking why they moved things and if he was going to cancel his unit. He responded “mind your own business if you know what is good for you”. I was never informed and called the Storage Mart two days after my unit was empty and lock cut off to provide a new credit card and I was not asked why I need to extend or told my unit was empty. It seems the concern is more about asking the criminal to stop than to protect people’s possessions and doing what they get paid for. I paid for three months after my unit had been burglarized and I had no idea as I was not informed. The police have told me there are several other victims of crime via Storage Mart. When pursuing this with Storage Mart I was told “We are as much a victim as you”. DO NOT RENT !!! DO NOT RENT FROM ANY STORAGE MART !!!!

I was referred here by a trusted friend who knows midtown like the back of his hand. The accolades given to this particular store are very well worth it. Shelley was knowledgeable, congenial, and fun to work with. In short order, she got me set up lickity-split and made the whole process easy as pie. The facilities are super clean, organized, and seemingly well-run. Also, the pricing on packing supplies is second to none Ive price-shopped so far. I got nearly twice as much for half the cost as the next nearest competitor based on price. And from what I can tell so far, the quality of the material is "old school", meaning the manufacturer isnt skimping on material. For example, how many of you have bought Home Depots shitty movers "shrink wrap" lately? Its crap. You cant even take it off the roll without shredding it, let alone apply it to your valuables. The stuff from StorageMart was high qual. Personally, I cant get enough of this stuff and would shrinkwrap my boyfriend if hed let me. Haha. Finally, just for sending in a simple postcard about the process, StorageMart is donating a surprising amount of money to a great cause--the American Red Cross. I wish the best to all you movers out there. May the process go smooth and uneventful. Cheers.

We stopped in to price out storage units and happened to find everything we needed for our move! We ended up renting a small unit and the cleanliness is very impressive. This place is immaculate and the staff was great to work with, glad we found them, very reasonable pricing too! ***EDIT***: Lowered my review by 2 stars because they messed up our billing on the first invoice. The way they handled it was poor overall, from a service design perspective. Usually I dont write reviews this early, but they had a charity thing tied to review activity and practically begged for it, so for better or worse- heres the review updated after 30 days. We signed up for auto-billing on the first day and then I got a call a month later from a robot telling me our bill was never paid! Then I tried to call the store and got an answering machine. Finally, I looked online and noticed they stripped away our promotional rate, which increased the bill by 30%, a number I would never have agreed to. With all that said, my wife finally got a hold of them and they told her about employee turnover and computer glitches, none are good excuses for the customer experience failure. If next month isnt smooth Ill be cleaning out the unit.

I enjoyed using this location of StorageMart for almost a year -- my husband and I lived with his parents while we searched for a home. Its clean, the manager is friendly and spends as much time with you as necessary. Overall facilities are pretty great. My one complaint is that about 6 months in they hiked up our price by a pretty substantial percentage, and there was no way I was going to spend the time and money to move our belongings to a more affordable storage location at that point. We just had to bite the bullet and pay the extra cost - but that seemed pretty bait & switch to me. There should be a leasing agreement that locks your rate in for a certain period of time.

We are new to the area and needed to find a storage unit to accommodate our cross country move. StorageMart on Broadway Street was an ideal location with climate controlled units. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Shelley. She was very friendly, informative, and knowledgeable on the units and KC! She showed us around the very clean facility and even worked with us to ensure the unit fit our needs. We are new to StorageMart, but know we will be lifelong customers if we have a need for storage facilities with this type of quality! Thanks Shelley for all your help. StorageMart is very clean and well organized. Super user friendly. I had a lot of questions and wanted to see my choices, I ended up not renting and needing to get a unit a few months later. I again wanted to look at my options. The same young lady helped me both times, she remembered me from the time I had come in before and was just as willing to go over all of it with me again. It really is simple, Im just ocd. SO. StorageMart services and storage great. Shelley the manager above 5 star, super fabulous. I Love STORAGE MART !!! SHELLEY General Manager Was the best she made my experience fast and easy. She actually cared about my situation and she didnt treat me as a number as so many Americans do now a days. She treated me as a customer I loved the experience of working with Storage Mart I will always go to them & refer all my friends and family even people I dont know to them.
