The best part about this location is the drop box for packages, it is open 24 hrs a day, and does not have a foul attitude as does the rest of the staff at this office. There is normally a large line waiting outside of the doors in the mornings for usps to open, the employees will stand around inside already mad because they have to do there jobs right away just like the rest of the world. When the doors do finally open at usually a few minutes after the hour (never early), you enter the second set of doors so you can wait in line again, i would have to say that 20% of the employees are friendly, fast and helpful. The other 80% are a bunch of rednecks that are especially rude to anyone who is brown, i am white and have noticed this time after time. Personally i have never had very many issues myself at this office, its just my observation of what is going on around me that i dont care for. The problems that i have had are actually with some of the lazy drivers that i have had issues with, i have had packages dropped off in the middle of my driveway, set on my cars, tossed to the door from the vehicle, and for a while not even delivered, only left pink slips in the box claiming either nobody was home or there was an obstruction preventing the delivery, in other words they didnt feel like leaving the truck that day. This all came to a screeching halt the day that i installed security cameras around the house and brought footage in to the local office on my tablet for the post master to review, i caught two different drivers pulling the same stunt, they would pull up to the box, put a pink slip in and drive off claiming nobody was home, i have a short driveway leading to my house that they would have had to enter to find this out. Lets just say that my deliveries have drastically improved since that day, its almost like i get vip treatment now, that is not right it had to come to that point to get proper service. Lets not even get started on the usps prices.

A supervisor has ordered that my mail Not be deliver in my street side mailbox until I move boxes from my front porch. . He said it was the Post Offices business whats on my porch. Still No mail delivered but tree branches were put in the mail box. The second Trip by my daughter to pick up my mail at the post office said that the first supervisor authorized incorrect action and was suppose to have my mail delivered. Just tree branches. Boxes still on the from porch until I can hire a strong person to move them.

I was supposed to receive a package this morning. I checked the tracking information and it stated that that tried to make contact with me and no one was home so they left a notice.... i have been home all morning. No one has come to deliver anything and no one has left a notice. I have literally looked everywhere for a notice. There is nothing. Absolute garbage. This was just laziness. Every time I deal with USPS there is always an issue..........if it would let me they would receive no stars.

Staff is usually helpful when I am there Im not sure where these complaints about incompetency and poor service arise. However it is a terrible wait a lot of times! Around lunch time is when I usually go and there is a line out the door, I dont know why they dont staff up for busy times. It seems there are people milling around that could be working the counter when not all three spots are attended. And the counter seems plenty long enough to add a couple of extra service bays also...

Has to be the worst postal service Ive ever dealt with. Mail carrier delivers to wrong address and the workers and supervisors think they are billy bad ass. They are slow and cant tell you where your packages are. They all have bad attitudes. Big thumbs down. The government should fire them all there and start off fresh with faster and compitent people. They have no respect for the public.

The most useless non-communicative incompetent post office Ive ever encountered. They rarely answer the phone, they make you guess how to do things, lose mail, dont call back, and openly mock you when you ask for anything. If you want a textbook case of why most people find postal workers worthless and incompetent, look no further. Youve found it. Horrible waste of tax dollars.

I have been to plenty of post office is, this has by far been the worst! They will have people standing in line out the door, and still only have two workers working. This is like this every time I come into this location. If you were going, you will be waiting at least 30 minutes. there are four desk available, use them for more employees, not just 2.

Just like the rest say, slow slow slow! You would think that with all unmanned stations in the front that maybe, just maybe thats because the other emps are say......at the phones.......HA! HA again I say! You have a snowballs chance in hell getting someone on phone. In my experience that is. Maybe theyre simply having a ruff time, every time I go around.

I was notified that i could pick my package up at usps location and it wasnt there. I understand a delay because of the snow but dont mark the tracking status as "attempted delivery with a noice left" when there was no attempt at all. Will never use usps in the future. Staff is absolutely worthless at this location and location on scottsville road.

What is the point of scheduling a delivery time for a package that requires a signature if the package isnt delivered at the appointed time! It is infuriating to take time off of work to make sure you have a two hour window to be available to receive the package, only to come home and see that USPS already stopped by.

Ive paid for two day shipping and its been a few days, still havent received my package. They keep delivering to the wrong address and the label has my proper address, why cant they get it right? Why do I pay for two day shipping if they dont honor it? Now I have to go pick the stuff up at the post office.

Had my mail forward over 6 months ago, and havent received a single package that I was suppose to receive. Also they dont have a real phone number on file. Im 20 hours away and cant contact them. Pitiful.

Cant get my mail. I get everybody elses but evidently the mail lady does not know how to read. She is putting me behind on bills and mail from my family...I wouldnt let her work for my dog.

It is a nice location close to everything in downtown BG. However, there is always a line for days. AND IT IS ABOUT TO CLOSE!
