If you live in an apartment and are home you should probably just leave your door open so they cant just stick an "attempted to deliver" note on your door and leave. I took my dog outside came back in my apartment and 10 minutes later a friend came over and saw the note on my door. I was sitting 10 feet away on my couch putting new curtains together, no noise, no knocking and I never heard anything. Im assuming that since it was 5:30pm on Friday the driver didnt feel like bringing my tv up the stairs to my second floor apartment. I called 14 minutes after the driver left and was told the Lexington, Ky location would call me within the hour and I never heard from them. I called two more times and was on the phone with them pretty much the entire night and was told I could pick up my package on Saturday.. Well its Saturday and they said I cant come get it today because I never told them I was picking it up and its not "available". The supervisor I spoke with on Friday evening made a note in my account that I would be picking it up this afternoon but because the Lexington, KY location never called me back to let me know if they would redeliver last night or picked up the phone, they said I have to wait until Monday. They do not care about customer service at all. The entire point of having a TV delivered to me was so I wouldnt have to go pick it up and carry it. I not be subscribing to Amazon Prime because they use UPS.. There is no point for two day delivery when I have to deal with this. UPDATE: Called the Lexington, KY location and spoke with a man named Joe. He is going to find my packages and call me when he gets them in the front so I can come and pick them up. He is going above and beyond to make up for my issues yesterday. Its not being delivered but having someone in a company that clearly doesnt give a s***, actually give a s*** means a lot!

They deliver until they are done. It could be 11 pm (conceivably) before they get to your place. I waited all day, until 630. I felt safe thinking that they wouldnt deliver any later. Came back at 7pm to a note stating that I could pick it up tomorrow at Mercer Rd or 4 days later (Holiday) at the Tates Creek Ups store. I went to Mercer Rd.the next day, a Saturday, only to be told that I couldnt pick it up until Tuesday at Tates Creek. The package was AT Mercer Rd., they WERE open,..yet they couldnt get it for me!? The clerk told me that I should have called the day before and "arranged" to pick it up at Mercer Rd. because now it was on its way to Tates Creek.....on Tuesday...? I had no way of knowing that I needed to call to make arrangements. I dont know that this was even true.----- I called customer service and they said that the employees of the "division"?, where my package was sent, dont work on Saturday, which is why I couldnt get it at Mercer Rd....despite it physically being stored there!?! ----If they are open for business and they have your package right there, you should be able to get it without waiting 3 more days. ------- Beyond the initial hassle of waiting all day for your package to arrive, they need to get their stories straight and communicate accurately and honestly. --------None of this would be THAT big of a deal except that it was very expensive, very temperature sensitive, potentially life saving, medication. I assume most things that need to be signed for ARE very important to customers. UPS acts like what your receiving is a cheap t-shirt you bought online.------------------------So,...maybe this info. will be useful to someone else. ........Wait until at least 8 pm. for your package to arrive ( and expect them to be later rather than sooner)to avoid the run around they will give you if you miss them.

DO NOT EVEN ATEMPT to try to get ANY type service out of the Lexington KY terminal !!! We were expecting a delivery of a life saving drug that it has taken nearly 2 months to get oked by insurance. My husband was to start taking the medicine TODAY. So we had DR appts this morning and when we got home at 10:30 there was a note that they had trued to deliver and since a signature was required they could not leave it. I TOTALLY understand THIS PART of this mess. However, I called the service center and was told they would call me within an hour to tell me what time the driver would have it back at the "hub". About 8 hours later , with no call having arrived, I called the hub to check and was told they would check on it an ...wait for it... an hour and let me know more. At 7:40 PM we get a call saying the pkg is there and that they close at 8 and we will have to wait for it to be delivered tomorrow. When we walked up to the door to where the pkg was being held ransom, the guy inside was leaving and we were told no we could not have it tonight, even after us telling him it was a life saving drug that was to start today, he walked off and drove his car away. This has GOT to be the worst possible place to expect ANY TYPE of decent service. If I had the power I would fire every damn one of the employees at this location - STARTING with the CEO!!! _ and start anew with a totally new staff !!!! If my husband has a setback because of this UPS can expect to find their backsides in court !!!!! They dont HAVE a low enough rating on here for this bunch!! Should be a minus rate as part of the rating system!!!!

Customer service is horrible, and I dont think they are even in the United States. After tracking my package via UPSs system, which gives a fairly good details on package locations, and having it not delivered on two consecutive days that it was allegedly "out for delivery", I contacted customer service, who just gave me run-around. They repeated lie after lie to me, claiming that on the first day the package arrived late in the day (its arrival scan was timestamped 4:35 a.m.). The second day, they first said they had just received the package and that it was supposed to be delivered the next day, then the representative backpedaled claiming that the package had been at the hub, but was never on the truck because of the weather, when I could clearly see that it had been scanned out that morning at 6:00 a.m. Weather was their excuse, which was barely an excuse on the first day, but was absolutely no excuse on the second day, and in no way whatsoever does it justify them lying to me when I saught the status of the package. I dont know what is happening to UPS, but they have almost dropped to the level of FedEx in their quality of service.

I rarely wrote any review because normally everything is alright to me. BUT THIS TIME I WROTE THIS ONE AND I wish I can rate a 0 star because I dont know how they works. They said "The receiver (which is me) doesnt want this package and it will be sent back to the shipper" after asked some other girl instead of me. Things happen, right? So I called the customer service center of ups and they called our local ups customer counter. A lady called me back with ATTITUDE ALL THE TIME AND SHE HUNG ME UP AT THE END. Umm excuse me? She didnt even bother to say sorry to me. And guess how long has my package been delayed to be delivered? Freaking 3 times, 5 days in total. And they are NOT SORRY AT ALL. First they blame it on my shippers then THEY ACTED LIKE IT IS MY OWN DAMN FAULT. The LEAST HELPFUL AND THE RUDEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever talked to. RUDE AF.
