The original quote I was given said it would take four hours to pack and move my 3 bedroom house - it took 8. The four guys who showed up did not know they would be packing a full house. My reservation very specifically stated that we needed packers and movers. Not all items were loaded, about two car loads left behind including towels, a packed box and stereo equipment, and dishes. I was told it was OK for me to head to other house to start unpacking while the crew continued to pack and load the trucks. Then I was told that it was my fault that things were left behind because I chose to leave. I would have stayed if I had been told that was their policy. Also, they ran out of boxes and tape, which further delayed the process. The guys did work very hard and I appreciate their efforts. Im sure this is a very hard job. I believe the problem lies with management and lack of proper training. The biggest issue I had was the moving of our clothes from the master closet. Everything that was on hangers was shoved into boxes (still on hangers). Not folded or placed in boxes carefully, literally shoved into boxes without any care. Even my husbands suits and dry cleaning still in plastic! It took me hours to find mine and my husbands work clothes, shoes., etc. Lots of things will have to be sent the dry cleaners again because they were so mangled! Ive moved several times over the years and never have I had a moving company pack a closet full of clothes in such a careless, haphazard manor! I will never use this company again. I will not recommend this company to any family or friends. You all get a big thumbs down from me.

UPDATE 6-1-17: Last Thursday we moved our corporate office from the 1st floor of our building to the third floor. We had Cardinal send six guys (but no trucks) to help us get this done. Everything was wrapped up by mid-afternoon and was just as professional, fast and affordable as Ive come to expect from these guys. I know Cardinal rewards their employees if mentioned so wanted to put in the good word for: Mario, Taylor, Mitchell, Timmy, Chris W. and Brandon. Thanks guys! UPDATE: Google wouldnt let me write another review so Im adding on to this one. Third and final move was last Friday (12/16). We had only intended on moving once this year but happy circumstances made us move out of the first house into a temporary space and then we moved into our final residence. THREE MOVES in one year... horrible. Anyway, we dont plan on moving again for a very long time. This time Zach, Taylor, Chris and Kyle moved us. Again, a pack of super-respectful young men and everything was moved quickly and professionally. One tall, wood DVD shelf was busted up a bit in the truck (due to weight on top of it) but we dont use it anymore so we just didnt care. Theres only one moving company in town as far as Im concerned. My second move with Cardinal Moving was just completed last week. This time my team was Josh, Justin, Jay and Blake. Everything went quickly and flawlessly and the guys were super nice and respectful (and had all of their teeth and no obvious drug problems, unlike a lot of moving company staff). Many thanks!

Josh H. & Brent came to my 2nd floor apartment and helped me move on August 31, 2015 into a storage unit down the road. The guys showed up on time, were very professional and courteous! Seriously Josh H and Brent seemed to be some really genuine guys that wanted to get the job done quickly but in the most professional & safest way regarding my furniture and items.. I had a lot of my boxes centrally located to help make things easier on them(my first time hiring movers, usually do it on my own, so I know any help with organizing helps) and I think they appreciated that.. I was moving a lot of my smaller items on my own in my personal vehicle. When we arrived at storage and they finished unloading I was under the 2hr minimum and they offered to help me move the stuff from my car into storage as well! Overall very pleased with my moving experience. Have already recommended the company to others at my work, and will be using Cardinal Moving in the future when its time for my next move. Last by not least the price was beyond Fair.. All other companies quoted me double what Cardinal did and I read many other reviews of other companies referring to "hidden fees" and being misquoted originally on price. With Cardinal you pay what you are expecting to pay and like I said it is Extremely Fair(no travel time added driving from their place to my apartment)!

My husband wanted to use Two Men and a Truck, but after reading the rave reviews for Cardinal Movers we decided to check into them. They called him immediately after he did an online quote request. Two Men and a Truck waited 2 days to call him and they lost all the information he entered about furniture and told him he needed to resubmit it. The price for Cardinal is a flat rate for two movers and it was so reasonable we had no qualms about booking them. They scheduled us and showed up right on time. The reason for 4 stars is that we asked for 4 movers (it is $30 extra per mover) and only three showed up because one was sick. I was at work all day while they moved and my husband said the three guys who came worked so hard and were so careful with all our belongings. I got off work and came to a new home that had all my stuff in it just where I wanted it! Love that! I gave the guys a key that I made for what room each box should go to and they said it helped a lot. They also told the hubs that they appreciated how organized we were when they got there that morning. We love our new house and have no plans to move anytime soon, but I would definitely recommend Cardinal Moving to anyone who plans to move. Their prices and hard working staff are outstanding! Thank you for helping us settle into our new home!

Ive moved using movers 3 times in the past 5 years, local and cross-country, and Cardinal Moving has been the best experience by far. The two *very* courteous young men they sent, Hayden P and Justin, filled a 26 foot diesel truck literally to the rafters and rear door; we had to put a few things in our cars it was so full. Then they unloaded at the new house, placing everything where we asked them to, appliances and all, basement included. They accomplished the task in a time period that put the national movers weve used to shame (the national movers even had three guys vs. two for Cardinal). When it was time to settle the bill there was no funny business. The rate they quoted was what they charged us, and the time worked was not padded. Ive had a commercial moving company quote me one price and then quote another once they had all of my belongings sitting on the truck at the new house waiting to be unloaded, and would not be unloaded until the up-charged price was paid. You will get no such surprises from Cardinal Moving. Bottom line: they did what they said they were going to do, above and beyond even, and charged only what they said they would. And just to reiterate: Hayden and Justin busted their butts. You cant ask for more than that.
