This is the part where I go on a rant that would put any 30 year old soccer mom to shame. I am so upset right now that I want to give up on my film career so I can put every fiber in my being and all of my lifes work into getting Rent-a-Nerd on Jefferson Highway shut down. Something seeped into the screen behind my Macbook after a trip to Atlanta from a packing malfunction. Standard problem. It was taken there in efforts to avoid Apples disrespectful repair prices. A month (maybe more) went by and nothing was fixed. I called several times. The answer was always, "Its still not done." Usually because they were waiting on something to come in. When asked how long, they always said, "a couple days." But could never give you a number estimate. I wasted a trip from New Orleans to Baton Rouge because they told me my Mac would be done by the end of the night (so I came into town two nights later to grab it). And, whoops, "our bad, still not done." Didnt bother calling me once. I yelled at them over the phone for not notifying and my phone didnt even attempt to ring. Anyway, I got my Mac from them and didnt check it (my fault). Now that I have, Ive noticed the screen is now cracked on the top right corner. It has scratches all over it and is pushed down too low, so you can see black spaces at the top. If you push into it, it wiggles. The side of the screen was pried open into and dented. There are bumps near the camera. I went back there as suggested by the Apple Store, and they had the nerve to tell me they were aware. I asked them why they didnt intend to return my mac to me in the manner that I gave it to them. They decided that since I wasnt doing business with them, it wasnt worth the effort to fix anything, because that would be "labor". Maybe this is a concept they are unfamiliar with. The gag is these guys think Im gonna stop with a bad review on the internet...

I have been so impressed with Rent A Nerd!! They are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, & friendly. I have taken my iPad & laptop in on separate occasions and have nothing but great things to say about the service. My family and I have been dealing with Rent A Nerd for about 4 years now. I have had nothing but great service. They have been prompt, accurate with my equipment. I do not think they are over priced. They are very empathetic and always willing to help. I would recommend Rent A Nerd to anyone!!
