This is the best car repair and maintenance shop in Baltimore City. I have used a number of other shops in the city, and I have to say that Paul and his team are by far the most professional and accommodating team. You can schedule online, they will send you e-mail reminders of regular maintenance, and their hours are very convenient for working families. But there are two big differences between A1 and other repair shops: 1) they are honest, and 2) they treat me with the same respect as they treat my husband (this is a major plus if you are a lady). Two examples of their honesty: First example: I have an older Saturn station wagon and I took the car to A1 for maintenance. Paul and his team put together a list of things that needed to be repaired, and it was lengthy. Most of these issues we were aware of, so it wasnt shocking. We explained to Paul that due to the cars age, we were not going to invest thousands into fixing everything on the list. He said he understood then prioritized the list, starting with "must do to keep the car running" repairs. We agreed with the "must do" repairs, and Paul completed them the same day. Second example: I was pulled over because my left brake light was out and received a repair order from the officer to have the car repaired and to return the paperwork to the Maryland State Police within 10 days. I scheduled an appointment at A1 for the next morning. After inspection, Paul and his team reported the break light was working (he showed me); he also stated that they could not identify a cause of a brake light on the fritz when the brake light is working. There was no charge. Paul told me if the light goes out again to bring the car back. Four days later I was pulled over again because my left brake light was out. I called Paul and brought the car back in the next day. He reported the bulb was blown and that he found a loose wire near the hitch that he believed could cause the light to be on the fritz (working sometimes, but not all the time) and cause the light to blow. He fixed the blub and the loose wire and showed me the working brake light. There was no charge! If you need a reliable, convenient, honest, and respectful team to take care of your car, I highly recommend A1 Auto Three Brothers!

I was told three brothers was a fair and honest establishment that would perform my inspection in a timely manner .. All of this information was far from the truth . I arrived for my appointment on time , after filling out some information, being told it would take an hr and a half and handing over my keys I left while they did there job . I returned an hour and a half later only to sit and wait nearly another half hour before being told that my car failed inspection. There reasoning as follows ... Tints ( need removal ) 5 exterior car lights wouldnt light up , Rotors , pads (needed to be changed ) Sway bar broken ( needed to be replaced ) Odometer ( broken he didnt know why ! just that it wouldnt light up ).. driver seat belt missing ( it was sitting next to the seat) I was told I would receieve an email with estimates of all the repairs . I was first directed to go to there tint shop to see how much a tint removal cost .. I did, and was quoted 200 dollars ( i went home and pulled them off myself ) i was quoted 288 to ( change the bulbs in my car) I went to advanced auto purchased the bulbs and put them in myself , i had a new mechanic check my car i did not tell him about the other " issues" three brothers so kindly pointed out . after he checked the only thing that was wrong with was my odometer , stunned I asked my brakes and rotors dont need to be changed ? he said no there in great condition . I said what about my sway bar ? looks fine to me I didnt see any cracks or breakage . SO thats 3 strikes I went to radio shack purchased new resistors and a soldering iron placed the new resistors on and it now lights up perfectly The repair estimate reached almost 1400 dollars . This place is a waste of time and money an absolute SHAM avoid this place if you dont want to spend unnecessary money on fake repairs

DONT GET FREE UBER INSPECTION HERE! THEY ONLY WANT TO FAIL YOU SO THEY CAN CHARGE YOU TO FIX! Went in for a free Uber state inspection. After they were done they came back saying I had a couple of faults that had to get fixed before I can pass inspection. 1.) Driver side windshield wiper doesnt wipe whole intended area (?) 2.) Driver side windshield wiper doesnt park correctly (???) 3.) At least 1 L.E.D light in side mirrors is out. (I checked it was only one tiny LED light) While I was there, I noticed every other person there for a free Uber inspection also had at least one ridiculous "fault" with their vehicle that had to be fixed before they could pass, and A1 gave them a quote for it and they would fix it on the spot for a cost of course. Anyway, I took my car somewhere else and paid to get the inspection done at a cost lower than what it wouldve cost to get the wiper and LED light fixed, and my car passed the inspection with flying colors...no faults found. You should know, there is no such thing as free in this world. In the case of the A1 Brothers, their whole gimmick is to offer free Uber inspections and then come up with some ridiculous faults so that they can offer to fix them for you and make some money. This is the only reason they offer free Uber inspections. I pride myself in being able to read peoples intentions pretty easily, I could tell that they were screwing the other people in the shop over telling them about these ridiculous "faults" their vehicle needed fixed before they could pass. Dont let that be you.

Rip offs! Went there for a Maryland state inspection. Failed on 4 issues with tint needing removed. I completely removed all tint myself and had a trusted mechanic (NOT from A1) replace and fix, control arms, ball joints, rear roters, then do a front end alignment. Went back to A1 for reinspection only to be told that the drivers side front tire *looks* off. I could honestly not see it. He said when making a turn the steering wheel does not go back to nomal position. I asked could he show me on the road, explaining I had all the issues fixed. He would not. Went to his boss who (of course) supported his employee that his * visual* of the tire is good enough for him . Boss says take it to a certified mechanic and bring the paperwork to show it is fixed. I got it fixed. Why do I need to bring you paperwork otherwise since your guy is reinspecting and Im paying you for reinspection anyway! Anyway, I left and went to a trusted place the same day and told them what A1 says was wrong and, of course, I passed with the only issue being wheel bearings having play, but not enough to fail. If you want trusted, openly honest shops looking at your car and not try to take all your money? Three Brothers is NOT the place! Oh! Did I mention, less than desirable location (keep your doors locked), dirty office ( imagine what the shop and how your car will be treated is like!) 2 thumbs DOWN!!! Google map the location and see!
