I would give this place more stars if it werent for the consistently bad experiences my fiancée and I had with the guy who works on the weekends - Francis - each and every time we went to our storage unit. I met John today and he is very kind and helpful, and the facilities are nice. They have free dollys you can check out and use and they have a roof over the parking area so you dont have to move in the rain (which came in handy today). However, my fiancée and I dreaded going there and always left in a bad mood because Francis was consistently rude to us, no matter how friendly we were, and not helpful even with the simplest of things. And it wasnt as if we were difficult or needed any extra help with anything. Even the most basic question he would act as if it was a huge inconvenience to him. I would be friendly, smile, say please and thank you, ask him to how his day was going, and even wish him a good day when we left, and he continued to be extremely rude. I have MANY years of customer service experience and he displayed exactly the type of behavior that turns away customers and would get him fired anywhere else. And oddly, I saw him bring quite friendly with another customer, a man... So hes capable, just selective. Again, behavior that turns me off completely. I wonder if his supervisors know because if they did, I would be surprised if the kept him around. Sadly, this is why I had to rate this place so poorly. If you plan on only coming to your unit during the week, then go with this place. But if you plan on coming by during the weekend, I would suggest going somewhere else if you want good service because Francis will give you below the minimum and will be rude to you on top of that. Unfortunately, I would never use this service again.

So my parents have decided to sell the house and I needed to get all of my extra things out of the house and put them in storage, I have never been to a storage facilty before so I had no clue of what to do...I was greeted by a warm smile from one of your employees at this location named Christy, she was amazing and extremly helpful to me, espicially considering it was my first time doing something like this...she went above and beyond to help me and exemplified first class service, it was such a breath of fresh air to receive this, considering how most companies nowadays get comfortable and forget that great customer service is one of the major keys to the success of any business...If I owned this company, people like Christy deserve to be in management, because they actually get what it takes to make customers want to continue to use your services.

I used the Butler Road Public Storage from about 2005 to 2008 to store books, mementos, and papers from my law office, until moving the stuff to my home, and was quite pleased with the clean, safe conditions and with Nikki the manager. Thus this July 2015 when I sold the house and needed to re-store the stuff, and lots of other stuff from the house, during the interim to move into a new place, I went right back to the same place, for two-months storage (Im in the process of moving it all out now). It was just as clean and convenient and safe as before, and the new manager Francis (Nikki has retired) was prompt, friendly and efficient. The range of packing-supplies on-site is much expanded since 2008 and comes in very handy, and the prices for the stuff are as good as Home Depo. Highly recommended.

Francis was quick to get rental paper work done and helpful with my questions. Great location, clean and I like being able to unload under a covered area but wish with dollies were more accessible outside of office hours. Other than that, I was very pleased with my experience. My check out was very efficient as I closed out my storage unit. Christie, Francis and Katie always were pleasant and professional. Renting a unit from them was a good experience for me.

I have an unusual last minute urgent situation and Christie , the property manager at this facility , as well as her district manager , very , very quickly resolved my situation with impressive professionalism and accommodated every one of my urgent needs ! Christie was very courteous, warm and engaging , answered all my questions and clearly knows her business well - a commendable professional ! Top notch service !! I recommend this facility without reservation .

Went out to the Butler Road Public Storage facility on the weekend. I was not sure what to expect. I am happy to report that it was a very good experience. Christy helped us and was very friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities are very clean and convenient and the entire process: viewing the unit, reviewing and signing the contract, and setting up auto pay took only a few minutes. I highly recommend this Public Storage Butler Road.

The service here is friendly and helpful. My only complaint is with the company itself: they require insurance on the unit and sell it to you even though most renters insurance includes coverage for storage units. It also acts like cable companies: they give you a promo price for the first month, a reasonable price for few months after, and then they raise the rate once youre established there.

Stored some "extra stuff" here for a few years, and always had a good experience. Helpful staff - especially on moving out day. Somehow we managed to pick the busiest day of the year to finally take our stuff to a new home! But they were friendly and helpful and even let us leave our moving truck in a parking space for a few extra hours while we got cleaned up for the long drive. Thanks!

This facility had everything my wife and I needed, and having Nicky take care of us was a plus. She made the process go smoothly, and she was helpful in getting us set up with the storage unit. There were many choices available in the DC area, but were glad we made the choice we did, and Nicky made all the difference.

She was able to complete my reservation while helping my movers to get on the elevator to move my things in. She was so helpful and friendly, and I wouldnt have been able to do this without her.

The girl who works there is super helpful and totally personable! I have had nothing but positive experiences every time Ive gone to my unit! Christy is always cheerful and professional even in the middle of a snow storm! I feel safe going to my unit as a single woman and its always well lit and maintained!

Im in the middle of moving to the DC area and needed a quick place to store stuff as I shuttle back and forth to home. I was able to catch an early flight home because Christy at this site was helpful and efficient. Good customer service is rare in this world. Thankfully I found it here.

Bri was very pleasant, efficient and helpful when I came in to rent a unit. Took the time to show me around and made sure my keys and passcode worked. A little disgruntled by insurance requirement policy but thats a Public Storage corporate complaint and not just this facility.
