Wow is all I can say. I needed a place to store seasonal/not often-used items on a somewhat permanent basis. Since this will be long-term, I also really wanted decent customer service. Spending several weeks and countless hours researching multiple storage unit options (reading many many reviews), I decided to rent from CubeSmart Lorton location as they had the best reviews. I booked a reservation online and was called within a few hours by a manager to confirm. I went in to sign the contract, and the manager on duty introduced herself and shook my hand. The other employee was in the back, but when she came out she also shook my hand and introduced herself. The location was SPOTLESS. Signing the contract was incredibly easy, and I was also able to set up auto-pay right then and there. Coffee & water are always available. Carts are easily found. I cant get over what a great beginning this has been. Everyone Ive communicated with has been extremely professional, well-groomed, knowledgeable, & polite. You can tell they are trying hard to compete with other name-brand storage units & that they want to come out on top.

Update on 8-25- downgraded them to two stars. My mom called ahead to let them know that she needed her lock cut because she lost the key. She also requested extra access so she could consolidate from two units to one, and told them we were both coming (one unit is in my name and the other in hers). I pulled up, the manager greeted me, I explained she called ahead and he was like, "oh.. are you Jaeda?".. I replied yes and then he told me he couldnt do anything until she got there. Whats the sense of calling ahead, even with them having all of MY info from my unit, and then not helping me?! Storage Units are all the same the trait that sets them apart from each other is service, and this right here gets a F grade! BOOOO!!! Thanks for wasting my time instead of moving my stuff, Im sitting in your parking lot updating review on your poor service! The manager was very friendly and I enjoyed working with her. Her people skills are great, and she was extremely helpful and patient. The people are who make the experience and Carol did a great job!

Ive had the pleasure of meeting Steve and a few of the fine people at Cube Smart in Lorton when I recently needed storage units. Ive been using all the competitions storage units over the years and my experience here has been, by far, a superior one. Steve and his team are knowledgeable in helping get the right size unit for your needs and clearly explain all your options for moving up in unit size, down in unit size, and move out /in. They take personal pride in their work --- and they give new meaning to the words Customer Service. Thank you to all!!!!!

I went there yesterday to get a storage unit and the staff was so polite and pleasant! They didnt rush me or force me to go with their company. The customer service was excellent! The young lady at the front desk took us through the whole building until we found what best fit our needs. She was such a nice person. The guy was very helpful to answer all questions that we didnt understand. He also assisted us when we came back to load our storage. Thanks for youll help!! I definitely recommend this company and especially the location!!

This CubeSmart was recently opened and is within walking distance of my home ( I run by it in the mornings). I found myself in need of a small storage unit and I researched this one online. I stopped by and within 30 minutes I had a unit assigned and within the hour I was storing my goods! Steve and Kyle were great! They went thru the various units available and pricing and made sure I knew the closest entrances to my unit (bonus :-) ). If you are looking for storage in Lorton, VA, this is your place!

The customer service here is outstanding! I went to the location for a local sports team gear issue and couldnt find any of the team members. I went in to ask the general manager and he was aware of the event. So, he searched his email for the latest correspondence and called the POCs for me. The gear issue had been rescheduled due to rain. Without the assistance of the general manager, I wouldnt have known what was going on. He really went above and beyond his duties to help out! Setting up my account was fairly quick and thorough, and moving stuff into my unit (two cart loads of boxes, etc) was hassle free. Altogether, I spent about two hours total here. Great customer service and clean facility with excellent AC/ventilation, even on a hot day. Id recommend it.

Easy location to get to. The prices were way better than other storage facilities we looked at. Store was bright, clean and staff was pleasent. The gentlemen helping us was very nice. He showed us to our unit and how to open, and properly lock the door. Very great experience.
