Extra Space Storage, Brentwood MD - I have been appalled with you customer service at your Brentwood, MD facility. Your customer service center said that my account got deleted when you upgraded your system, which is a terrible inconvenience. Then, tonight after working hard, my husband was not able to park his truck in the facility. We have been current on all of our bills; there is no reason to be treated this way. We called the service center again tonight and were treated very poorly. In our desperation to have some assistance, we reach out to the Service Rep to see if she could send someone to help us. She was rigid and horrible. She even said that while shell take my message, she could not guarantee that anyone call me back tomorrow. Now my husband is forced to park his truck outside somewhere, because your facility would not follow through with standard of service.

To the Management of Extra Space Storage: Just a little Thank you: When I first arrived at the facility I thought, "wow this is nice & clean" the staff greeted me with open arms & after being taken on a tour of the facility its quite large & very clean; I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice, helpful & knowledgeable they showed me how I could have my things organized & gave me hints on how to safeguard my favorite things. The thing I really appreciated was that at no time did anyone pressure me to sign anything before I was ready. I am a disabled person on a fixed income and they told me that at anytime when Im ready they would be here for me every step of the way. Thank you, Nicole, Rahim & Maishawna you are the best. Ill be calling back soon.

We are building a rental apartment. Extra Space Storage was the perfect place for us to assemble our "apartment kit". As we bought items, we put them in storage -- safe and out of the way during construction. We had doors, bathroom fixtures, light fixtures, a ventless gas fireplace, flooring, a kitchen sink, and even a sauna in storage. As work progressed, we pulled out what we needed when it was needed -- clean and ready to go. My wife did a lot of looking before signing up and chose Extra Space Storage. They delivered "as advertised" -- a clean, secure facility at a convenient, accessible location.

Extra space storage was an ideal facility until two years ago. We have utilized the storage for several years. Employees were considerate and provided good customer service when knowledgeable about answers to questions-- Moving out was a major let down. ....mice droppings should have been the clue to an infestation...., but in going through our things-- rodents had chewed through valuable clothing (mens suits, shirts hanging on racks) my library collection of books--some included Out-of- Print volumes. that are irreplaceable. Mouse infestation destroyed property I was paying to keep stored and safe.

So Im renting a unit at 3320 Bladensburg and the Manager, Amanda and her colleague, Alberto demonstrated excellent customer service skills insofar as articulating prices, availability, information on the unit & facility. They were extremly personable and professional. Ive rented here before and had a great experience . However, this time the team went above and beyond to assist. I have a unit close to the entrance, I was moving alone, Alberto assisted with a couple boxes... Excellente!!!

This is my SECOND time returning to this facility for storage and I cant speak on how EASY & CONVENIENT the moving process has been with them! Theyre easy going personalities & dedication to customer service easily calm any frazzled nerves on moving day and Im so appreciative of that! Most people are already thrown off by issues with U-Haul, problems, traffic, etc but every single time I leave ExtraSpace thankful knowing my belongings are safe during my transition! THANKS ALBERTO!!!!

This is my first time using Extra Space Storage. The staff was very warm and friendly. My representative Amanda was warm, kind, and very knowledgeable about their products and services. She walked me through the facility, to ensure I obtained the correct storage unit to meet my storage needs. The facility was neat, clean, and very inviting. The ratings are lies, they had customers rate for their own incentive from the district manager in order to get a BONUS! Bad customer service, lies and filthy facility. They broke into my storage without consent to terminate my lease. They are bad staff and management. Never have they taken the chance to even clean the facility. I even had infestation problems with roaches and another customer with mice droppings. They are not any good to do business.

My experience at Extra Space Storage has been very positive. The managers, Nicole and Alberto, are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The Storage facility is very clean and entering and exiting is not difficult but secure. Renting this extra space has been the right and best thing for me to do. To know that your belongings will be secure is very comforting. Thank you Extra Space for providing a secure and well-maintained facility.

Kerisha was so kind and helpful (not to mention funny) from the moment I walked into the office. I cannot express how satisfied I am with this experience. If you need a storage unit for any reason, you need to go here. This has the best rates, most convenience, the kindest people, and a top notch facility. Good Afternoon: This is a commendation for one of your employees Ms. Kerisha Bignal. I visited the storage office about two weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon and was greeted by Ms. Bignal. She is very professional, pleasant and knowledgeable about the job. She processed my paperwork and had me quickly set up. I appreciate her being able to assist me. Thank you.

Worst customers services ever! The management is extremely lazy never inside the office and the manager is extremely rude with low skills of having customers services. The unit have people lottering and sleeping inside the units. The management never clean and solution to everything is evicting the tenants.Please stay away its not worth it believe me!!!!!

Came to discover today a rip in their ceiling has flooded my unit, ruining most of the articles inside. Staffs response so far has been a shrug not even working to get us a new unit in the building and refusing to reimburse rent for the months since the last confirmed dry visit. Will be escalating complaint but I strongly advise renting somewhere else.

I was at this location recently and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well taken care of the property was. I dont normally write reviews, but the manager was so helpful about advising me on the units. It is because of her that I plan on using Extra Space for storage on each of my rental properties. I highly recommend this location!

Overall this facility is decent although they could use a few more carts to help you move your items around. Last time I was there only one was functional. Staff is straight forward and almost friendly depending on the time of day. Once they have you locked in as a customer though the quality of service can go down considerably.
