The staff at this location are a terrible mess. I had a reservation, but I had a question about my one way drop off so I decided to drop in and ask. The lady at the desk was up front containing about the length of the line and how she just got back from lunch and shouldve came back. Then she proceeded to tell the story about she just got back from vacation in FL and she wished she did not have to come back to this job. It was just so unprofessional. If you hate your job so much...quit. And she also took the time to ask the customer in front of me in line did she need an assistant or hiring at her business because she needed a new job (BTW, who would hiring you while your currently at your job complaining and bashing your job). Just not a good look U-Haul, get it together...

Sold us a unit but did not take their lock off, so we dont have access to store our items. If you rent a unit from this facility make sure you walk back to the unit with them and watch them remove the lock before you leave. It is now after hours and the number left for us to call for assistance keeps going to voicemail. Do yourself a favor and choose another storage facility in the area!

I made a reservation and used the "express" check in. I arrive before they were open, but six people were already in line. Only one cashier showed up. I waited for an hour to get my truck. No apology for three lack of workers. The cashier had no sense of urgency, though all in line expressed their frustration. Very unprofessional.

Do not ever go to Chillum Rd, Hyattsville Md. The manager Henry is Racist. He will stalk and harass you and charge fraudulent fees if you are not Hispanic or White. Corporate does not care because he supposed to stalk you, quote Karen the excutive manager. Uhaul will never get my business again.

Every move has been hosted by U-Haul. Aside from the company having consistently durable, reliable, and eco-conscious vehicle services, the Chillum location went above and beyond. Excellent and friendly staff! Location was well equipped, even during the busy holiday moving season.

They are always under staffed,which often leaves the Team Member or Members appearing unmotivated.And sometimes even rude and slothful. I strongly recommend hiring staff to help increase service time,and retraining in customer service to deal with the hard times.

I would advise anyone, dont store your belongings here. They have mice. I had an inside unit. This place is nasty. I gave it a 1 because the female worker was professional.

The business was efficient and the 10ft U-Haul we rented was clean but did smell of cigarettes. Would rent another U-Haul from here if needed
