RAT DROPPINGS EVERYWHERE!!! I just moved in and I am moving out soon as I can. I was there less than a week and opened my storage room on the second floor to find a very large amount of rat droppings all over my rubber maid tubs, the floor, different sizes in large amounts. they had crewed in some plastic bags I had stored with towels in them.... SOOOOO GROSS!!!! I told the manager right away, she really doesnt care! told me she just works there and they come once a month, that I can file an insurance claim. I have asked her several times to do something about it. everytime I go to my unit I find new amounts of rat droppings that I cleaned away. I have no food stored in my unit which is what was asked by her. The floors are never cleaned. I have been there for 3 weeks and hate it, one of the worse storage situations I had to deal with. What really makes it worse is the manager does not care! the place is dirty all the time, rats, the elevator doesnt work half the time, the bathroom is always dirty. Its not even worth the discount to me. STORE YOUR STUFF SOMEONE ELSE is what I recommend at this point. I REALLY expected more from Public Storage. Yuk, I am so grossed out and pissed off that I have to worry about cleaning up from nasty rats and worry about all the germs they carry onto my stuff plus the damage to my things.

Ive rented from various Public Storages for over 30 years. Ive been at this one for just over a year. This is the worst one Ive ever rented, specifically, management and customer service from the office...until a couple months ago. Latisha started working there. She is absolute perfection in customer service. I dont mind going to my own unit now! If youre planning to rent from this location, call first to make sure Latisha will be there.

My husband and I rented space at this location for one month. we were not sure how much space we needed for our stuff. First we rented small but unit but then John helped us figure out how much space we needed and then transfer us to bigger unit. he was really helpful through the whole process and help us understand the whole renting and vacating process. I recommend this storage to everybody whos looking for storage place.

I have been with public storage since December 2013 and my experience with Public Storage in Laurel, Maryland has been truly exceptional so far, I went today and checked my unit and it was in a perfect condition. There are friendly people that work there. Jon helped me and he was really helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody.

I just came in to pay a bill but Sidnei the manager on duty was very informative about how I could save money every month by transferring to a smaller unit. She asked to see my space so she could suggest a better fit for a cheaper price. I liked that she cared enough to take time to help me save money.
