If I could give 0 stars I would. Will report to BBB! Zips NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN! Elkridge location is beyond awful. In less than a month they have lost three men dress pants and seriously damaged another. First time: Lost one pant. The first big clue for disaster was when the manager took me to the area where thy had missing and damaged clothing to look for the pants and there is TONS of them. I was very understanding and accepted a store credit from a corporate representative in the store. He said he was there to fix "couple" issues with the store. Sure, "just some issues" and that management changes were happening. Second time: Lost one and seriously damaged another with chemicals. A new manager offered to reimburse for the cost of the pants. I filled out some paper work. She said I was going to get a check in aprox 2 weeks. Third time: I had to verify status of the second issue, I still had $60 in credit and no time to iron my husbands cloth so I gave them the third and LAST chance. After I left the clothing I asked for an update in the claim. A different corporate representative was there and he said they have not process it yet because they couldnt do it until certain amount of time has passed and told me to follow up at the end of the month. I asked my husband to pick up the laundry and he called me because a pant was missing AGAIN. They actually gave him someone else pants. Then he tells me that the manager is ignoring him by staying at her office eating pizza and letting one of the employees try to deal with the issue. I was Furious and i just had it. I drove to zips and told that to the manager. I emphasized this is the third incident and fourth pant and tild them I was ashamed for then all. The manager said she had no reason to be ashamed. I was beyond MAD. I told her I wanted to cash out my credit and never come back. She said that was not possible and that I needed to fill out anotherform. . Couple things: - The manager is the one responsible to deal issues and complaints with customer. Is completely irresponsible to leave your employees dealing with YOUR responsibilities and duties as a manager. - Every time I go there there is people with similar issues to mine. This is just very sad! - Corporate representation have not helped a bit. It is still a mess. They just cant get it together. -I would fire management on the spot!

***Update***3/18/2014 My husband really likes how close this is to our house and does not want to go anywhere else. I called to ensure my laundry was done and the guy on the phone said yes it should be. I asked him if he could check to make sure because I have been a couple of times and my clothes were not done. He said no there was no way. I asked him why he couldnt use the phone number the same way that is used to drop the laundry off. He put me on hold for 10 minutes and then another lady answered the phone took my phone number and told me my laundry would not be ready until the next day at 5 pm. I just dont understand why so many of the employees that work here are so unhappy and rude to customers. I will continue to work to get my husband to change his mind.....my mission!!! I hate to spend $60+ per month to be treated like crap every other visit!************** My husband bought a suit from Jos A Bank and had it tailored to fit. He work the suit one time and then we took it to Zips to have it dry cleaned. The suit was washed and dryed, the pants shrunk and the pants frayed at the bottom. We took the suit back to zips to open a claim. They never called us back we had to call them. They said they stretched the suit back out to its original size and cut the frayed edges off the bottom and we could come get the suit. Needless to say the suit is ruined and the management is rude and unwilling to make the situation right.

Remember the adage: You get what you pay for. If I could give this zero stars, I would. I took my clothes here to be dry cleaned, including three pairs of tan/light-colored slacks. They spilled ink on these pants (the excuse they gave was that a pen in an employees shirt exploded, and this affected 10 other customers. I dont buy it. How can one pen cause that much damage?). They sent the garments to another location to try and get the ink out, said it would take three days. TEN days later, after repeated calls, they finally said I could come in to file a claim. I filed the claim on 2/14/2014. They told me they would send it to corporate, who would send me a check in 7-10 business days. Fine. One month later, no reimbursement, no letter, no emails, no contact whatsoever from either this location, nor corporate. I called corporate; evidently they had never received the claim. They told me they would expedite it, and reimburse me for the ruined garments. Its been a month since then, and I have just gotten off the phone with corporate again. I was assured that they would get to the bottom of this, but I highly doubt it. Long story short, DO NOT bring your clothes here. The service is shoddy, and the employees and especially the managers are incredibly rude. Ive since gone back to my old dry cleaners - yes, they are more expensive, but they do an excellent job with excellent customer service.

I suppose Im partly to blame for the problems Im having with ZIPS -- every time I went in to drop clothing off, there was at least one person there filling out a report or complaining about lost clothing. That should have been a big, red flag for me. Well, now Im their latest victim. Dropped 23 shirts off a month ago. Went to pick them up, and only a few were ready. Came back a week later, and they couldnt find the rest, but had me search through scores of shirts. I found a few of mine there, and filled out a report for 13 missing shirts. I was told they would get back to me within 2 weeks, but havent heard from them. Oh, and I called today to check whats going on. I was asked to wait for the manager. As I type this, my phone shows 16 minutes, 44 seconds and counting that Im on hold waiting (no one has even come on to say that hell be with me shortly, etc. Im assuming Ive been forgotten about, which hardly comes as a surprise.) In summary, so long as you dont mind the strong possibility of not getting your clothing back, the long lines, and the gawdawful customer service, this place is a great dry cleaners!

Service at this location is abysmal. Management should be fired on the spot. Store ruined my daughters XMas dress. Their solution was to leave the garment with them for the manager to review. Why on earth would I trust them not to mess it up more. They just ruined a $500 dress! When I refused not wanting to damage it more, they became indignant. Store manager snatched the receipt from my hands and told me to get out. I went back to see the area manager and she repeated the action. Their lack of customer service would test a Tibetan monk. I admit I lost my composure and cussed them out, but the solution was so visible, their intractability was just amazing. They wanted me to give them the dress and have their tailor fix the dress. How about since you damaged it, I take it to a tailor I trust to repair it and you reimburse me for the costs. The area manager was the worst because she perpetuates that attitude w/her lack of common sense for how to handle customers. Nobody should be cursed with being so stupid.
