I took my car in for an oil change and they inform me I need my transmission fluid changed. They gave me a quote of over $200.00 and I said "no." I called the dealership I bought the car from and they quoted me $130. When I picked my car up from the oil change, I said I have an appointment on Monday with the dealership for the transmission fluid change. The man in the garage began to tell me that he has "torched a wrench for many dealerships and they are just going to drain out part of the fluid and only put back part of the fluid. I didnt appreciate this so I verified with the dealership if this is true and of course they state it is not. Then I go to drive the car away and the tire pressure light is still on! On the sales slip it says they check the pressure of the tires. Then why is the light on? I go right back into the shop and ask why is the tire pressure light on? They get the guy from the garage and I catch him in a slip up saying "we dont check the tires." I ask then why does it say it on the receipt? "Well I mean we dont drive the care for a mile to reset the tires. So he has me go out and drive the car for one mile. I drive it for 2.3 and guess what the tire light is on the whole time and when I get back to the garage. He takes the car back in the garage and I tell the front desk person what is happening and he takes up and says "I can personally vouch for this guy they check the tire pressure." I said well then why did he just tell me he did check the tires. The front desk man then begins to argue with me and I cut him off saying there was a woman in here behind him that heard him say it too! So he gets upset and walks off, to a back room. To which I say loudly very good customer service walking off from the customer! I get my car back and guess what the light is off! The man in the garage begins to make excuses and I just stop him and say I dont want to hear it! I told him he was wrong for bad mouthing another business and If I had taken it to the dealership they for sure would have never left the light on!!!!! Then he begins to turn it on me and say if I had mentioned at the beginning of the oil change that the light was on...! REALLY now I have to do your job too!!!!! Seriously beware they not trustworthy!!!!!

Just awesome! Story: My sister is handicapped with severe Multiple Sclerosis. I drove from Leesburg to Waldorf MD to take her wheelchair in for an 8:00 am service appointment in Germantown MD (Roberts Home Medical). Before getting on the road, I found that her accessible van had a gas line leak and her air conditioner rear fan was not working. I found Dynamic Automotive via my Galaxy smart phone search, called and left a message asking them to please call me. A short time later, Jason called me. I sent him a video of the gas leak for an advance look at what was wrong Long story short, Dynamic fixed both the gas leak and a/c and also did an oil change and topped off all the fluids in a very short time.Their staff is EXCELLENT at diagnostics and repair. It turned out someone had jury-rigged the fuel line with a short length of hose that was not made for fuel, so it was rotting. They replaced the entire fuel line, doing the job right! It also turned out someone had removed a relay in the rear a/c motor. They put in a new relay and it fired up right away. I was back in Waldorf with a repaired van and repaired wheelchair by about noon! I consider my time as my most valuable asset and they did not waste either my time or my money; it was a reasonable price for the work. My dad was a master mechanic who ran a 14 bay antique car repair shop near Pittsburgh so I know good work when I see it. These folks are for real.

I was on my way back from a trip to Washington, D.C., with my daughter and we were more than 200 miles from home. I began hearing a noise coming from the front passenger wheel area of my minivan. My sister lives in Urbana, so I asked her for the name of a garage nearby since we were stopping at her house anyway. She told me to try Dynamic Automotive and I am so glad I did. We had a long trip back to Pittsburgh ahead of us and I needed to get my van checked out that day. I called Dynamic Automotive before we left Arlington, VA, and was told to bring the van in and theyd take a look. Upon arriving, I was immediately greeted by friendly staff who were concerned for our problem. They went to work quickly, taking the van for a short drive around the area to determine the noise, then pulled the wheel to inspect it. They thoroughly inspected everything - brakes, rotors, plates, joints, bearings. They made sure there was nothing unsafe and we were back on the road quickly. The noise went away so it seems that it was a very minor issue. I was able to drive home confidently and not be worried about a potential issue. On top of this, when I asked what I owed them, they performed this service of checking out my van as a courtesy! Im an out-of-towner, but if you live in the area, please consider Dynamic Automotive for your vehicle maintenance and repair needs.

My step by Dynamic in the beginning was not the best, although at first we start with the left foot, when I made the corresponding claim they heard me, they saw what was your mistake and fix it soon. In less than 48 hours my problem was solved, and knew apologize and find a solution.

WAY OVER PRICED! They wanted more to do a timing belt on my Tacoma than the Toyota dealer, They wanted $40 to put a bolt back in, $10 to change a 194 light bulb, then they quoted 1 day and $461 to do a wheel bearing, it ended up being $522 and taking 3 days, when I called back later asking about the extra $61 all they would say was that they discounted the price down to the original price after needing more parts they didnt quote, that still doesnt explain the extra $61. in the end I could have had it done by the Toyota Dealer for under $500. Also their oil change was way over priced but they said they also vacuum the carpets and clean the windows, and my truck was pretty dirty so I said go for it, well they may have stuck a vacuum hose in there for a few seconds and wiped the outside of the windows but they defiantly didnt touch the inside of the windows. Over all I will never go back to them. The only thing they have going for them is they are pretty friendly as long as everything goes as planned and you dont mind paying their outrageous prices.
