I choose to go to Zamoras Auto Body because I assumed being a small business they would take pride in their work. However, I am sad to say that I was wrong in my assumption. When I went to pick up the car I noticed that the hood was not aligned properly, which I notified them of there, and they told me they would take care of it (which they did, but later I found that another area where the hood was out of alignment. Not sure if one affected the other). I also told them that the engine was very dusty, and they told me that it was because the shop is dusty and the hood was off during repair. OK, I understand that, but what I don’t understand is why they could not have taken the air hose and cleaned it off. I was told to take a rag and clean it off later. Once I got home I noticed that the hood was now out of alignment in a different spot. Both the driver and passenger inside wheel wells have gaps in them; the one on the passenger side has a huge bump due to the accident and should have been replaced with a new one. Moreover, on a plastic part located on the bottom of the front bumper, there is leftover paint and tap due to a bad taping job, and/or removal of the tape after painting. I found this after I personally took my air hose to clean the engine. I am sure there are more imperfections that a good body person could pick up on quickly, but I have only had the car home for a few hours (yeah! I, the one man accountant found these issues within that short amount of time. Maybe I should start an auto body and tax return shop). Here is what is sad to me. You have a small business that has expanded over the years and lost pride in the work they do. There is no reason why I should be the one finding issues the same day the car came out of the shop. One would assume that the shop manager would find these imperfections before the car left the shop, or you would hope a body person would take enough pride in his/her work to do it right in the first place. Zamoras Auto Body does have a life time guarantee on their work, which is great; however, this benefit should only have to be used for issues that are not so easy to see. In other words, an accountant, such as myself, should not be the one finding obvious imperfections the day it leaves the shop. Furthermore, having to drive back and forth is both time consuming and costly to the customer. Anyway, I understand that nothing mechanical is perfect. However, my wife’s car is a 2012 and is very well taken care of. When I say taken care of, I mean I clean it in and out once per week; this includes cleaning of door jams and engine with a soft cloth and quick detail spray. My point being, they were not having to turn chicken s*** into chicken salad. I am not advising you against using this body shop, you can make your own decisions. I am just sharing my experience for two reasons. First, I wanted to let others know my experience, because I have personally found that research, including these postings, have helped me make decisions as a consumer. Second, I hope the owners of the shop will see a post like mine and think about the issues a “turn and burn” mentality can have, long-term, on a business. I thank you all for your time. I also wish Zamoras Auto Body the best and hope that they will resort back to what made such a business grow, e.g. pride in work and customer care. I also thank them for providing jobs, which is a true asset to the community. However, no matter how much I respect small businesses for what they do, we the customers should not be overlooked, since we are a great source of revenue, if we choose to use your service.

I have one word for this shop and the word is incompetence. I would stay clear from this shop by all means. They glued a trim panel to the rear door an inch higher than the panel on the front door and thought this was OK (I had to point this out to them and they fixed it adding two new minor scratched to the car that I had to absorb). They painted the back door leaving the edge so rough that you could use it as a saw (kids watch out!). I had to point that out to them and they fixed that. You will find bubbles under a sticker they applied to your car perhaps because of a small particle they forgot to wipe off (forget about fixing that). The rear plastic bumper came undone on the side of the impact within a couple of months because they did not secure it properly. They tried to fix it again but did not do it right again and I had to bring the car in for a third time. I asked specifically not to do anything substandard and the tech returned me a car within a few minutes saying it was done. I looked at it and the top clip was broken now. I sent him back to fix it properly and he came back within 20 minutes and everything was glued now, including the clips and the bracket. I noticed that they never painted the metal piece underneath when taking pictures of the abuse to my car. They think this is acceptable. I think this is totally unacceptable and shows negligence, low standards, and, frankly, incompetence.

I was told they were a high end body shop and were recommended by people in the industry. I am pretty disappointed in their work. My 2010 Mazda 3 needed a new bumper, grill, skid plates, fender realignment and dent in the hood fixed thanks to a semi truck tire peel off. I discussed my concerns with the bumper color matching the rest of the vehicle due to the vehicle being pearl white, they said they would do their best and can match very well. (As close as you can get for plastic to metal to match). I also paid them a little extra to refinsh the entire hood due to excessive rock chips. Upon picking up the vehicle I noticed on one side the bumper shade was pretty far off. The hood matched the bumper almost perfect, the hood matched both fenders and the bumper matched the right fender. For some reason the bumper on the left didnt match the fender. They had no reasoning for it and refused to reblend due to "they would never be able to get it perfect" they also pointed out how the rear bumper wasnt perfect either but thats due to all factory bumpers not matching. It had more of a yellowish tint to it, but now my front bumper is the exact opposite and super white. Pretty disappointed how they could do most of it so well but not all of it

I have brought my car here twice. No longer will I bring it here. The first time was because someone rear ended me. They replaced the trunk and it must not be aligned because it scuffs along where it closes and it taking the paint off. The second time was some dents in my front fender. Went to pick it up today and there magically appeared more dents on the back of my car. The guy said it was dirty so they couldnt see it when I brought it in but it is a large dent and no amount of dirt would have kept them from seeing it. The manager came out and said they would fix it. So before I take it in Im gonna get a nice detailed video of my car inside and out incase they try something. It sad when you cant trust a company you give your hard earned money to.
