I had a great experience on both ends of an interstate move with these guys. I had to move a one-bedroom apartment contents and vehicle from Georgia to Maryland. We also had contents stored in an off-site storage facility there that needed to be loaded and shipped along with the apartment items. We contracted a full pack & shipment. I was exceptionally pleased by the professionalism and care the movers took in packing and loading, not to mention their pleasant demeanor. They arrived a little late, but got the job done in just under 6 hours. The move to MD took a day sooner than I expected. On the receiving end, I met the truck at another storage warehouse where the contents were going to be delivered and stored. I was told theyd be there by 8. Boom. Right on time. There were 4 guys including the driver and sharp man in charge Gabriel. They didnt waste any time getting started. As they unloaded, I checked off the items on the packing sheets. They called out the numbers and asked which portion of the warehouse I wanted things in, because some stuff was to be moved to an apartment several days later. So I would say "this can go in the back", "I need that up front", etc. They were all very polite and very careful in unloading the items and getting them back to the locker. They finished in just under 2 hours, including off-loading the vehicle. I cant say enough about how pleased I was with this move and the guys who were on the truck that day. Might I add that this company was highly recommended to us by friends who did a move from CA to VA. The 2 guys I dealt with on the phone were responsive, concise and thorough in explanations and estimate (which by the way was accurate-the move didnt exceed the estimated charge). I know not every move is the same, but in my case, I was very happy and I would definitely use their service again.

Very careful movers - It is the first time I am moving and I was quite puzzled how I am going to move without breaking my beautiful glass wares and other delicate stuff. I was searching for some good packers and movers to help me relocate my things without any breakage. Then I found Movers on duty, I contacted them to ask for a quotation. They responded quickly and they were very helpful to me. They moved my things without any breakage and at affordable cost. I recommend movers on duty to everyone to have a relaxed move especially if you have delicate stuff. They handle the things carefully and they are all highly skilled people. I just cant say enough good stuff about these guys, they are simply great people I am glad the Lord put them on my way to make everything SO MUCH EASIER!

The moving and storage services provided by Movers on Duty are excellent. Workers are very polite and extremely efficient with their work. I have never been more satisfied with any other moving services before. Movers on Duty provides the best services when it comes to moving and storage. Knowing that my things are safely stored makes me stress free. The workers are also very kind and helpful. I would recommend daylight moving services to everyone for moving and storage purposes. You must hire daylight moving services if you have to move your things or get them stored at a safe place. The workers are extremely nice and the things are safe enough when stored with Movers on Duty.

I used this company for moving from Gaithersburg to Bethesda MD and would recommend it with no doubts to others. The guys who did the move (Alex and Ray) were fast, polite and cooperative. Nothing damaged during the move and they did it in the shortest possible time. They are also very fair and even deducted their lunch time from the billing hours. The initial price may not be as low as some other companies, but considering how fast they are and not having any item damaged, youll save money at the end. Thanks to these guys! Movers on Duty are a VERY can-do outfit. Our moving schedule was thrown out and they simply found time to reschedule at the end of a long day to move our home contents. The team were always courteous and worked very hard and very quickly – with nothing damaged. In addition to the high quality, they were also very low-priced – so excellent value for money. That they offered a fixed rate also helped allay our fears about escalating costs. Our move was a temporary one so we will almost certainly be looking to use them again.
