I urge everyone to read the negative reviews and be very careful about using this company. When I first contracted with Quality Services Moving, there were not as many negative reviews so apparently there has been a change in leadership and the company is going downhill fast. Aside from our initial move to storage (great team packed us up), we have encountered the most unprofessional people I have ever had to deal with. You should not use this company unless you want to experience sexual harassment, racism and have to fight for your money when they lose your stuff. For me, its not always how good the service is, its how the company makes things right and Quality Services Moving has failed miserably in this department. Our household goods were initially crated since they were to be put in storage for a time however when they arrived they had been un-crated and repacked into a bigger truck. This raised all kinds of red flags since I have been moved several times and my HHG have always remained in the crates until the destination. When they finished unpacking, we had 7 boxes missing and indicated as such on the inventory sheets. After going through our items, we confirmed the missing items and filed a claim since we paid for Full (Replacement) Value protection. As of today, we have received only about 10% of our claim mainly because QSM insists that they have the right to change the protection that I paid for to the base valuation because these boxes were packed by owner. They also refuse to refund for TV kits that were paid for but not used (which also resulted in a broken TV that they are refusing to pay an adequate replacement cost). Before we filed the claim, my in-laws also used QSM to move in with us. The driver talked them out of paying for the Full (Replacement) Value protection because he was good and nothing was going to be damaged. While QSM personnel were packing my in-laws items, they broke some irreplaceable items that belonged to their grandparents. They also just threw things in boxes (simply dumped kitchen utensils in boxes) and packed very haphazardly. Since they did not pay for the Full (Replacement) Value Protection, they have not filed a claim because they have seen what we have had to deal with and decided its just not worth the fight. When my in-laws HHG arrived, the truck beat them so we had to deal with the same driver. My wife suffered through sexual harassment from the driver (what can you do when they have your stuff?) as well as the racist remarks about the helpers that he hired. We simply could not wait to get them out of our house.

So anyone who has ever moved knows theres always a bit of drama...movers are late, miscommunications, the leg of your favorite chair gets banged and chipped but you dont discovered it until 2 weeks later when cleaning for dust bunnies, or youre just a terrible packer like me. Given all that, I think a company and its staff shows it true character--not when everything goes right, but when lots of things go wrong. I had a two-three part move. I moved several things into storage in order to declutter my property for sale. Some of those items were to stay in storage and some were to be moved to a new location. Plus, Quality Services had to bring back certain items, load the remaining items in my home and then unload everything at my new place. Phew! Well, something went awry and they did not go to the first place to pick up the remaining items to unload at the new place. It was a long day and they unloaded what they had and I had to make arrangements for another day which was difficult with selling a home, cleaning and reserving freight elevators at the new place. Plus I travel so my mother was in charge but I interloped often. We called Operations and Andrew agreed to send a crew out that day. He did. The team was professional and courteous as was the original team. Good natured and hard working. They all took exceptional care of my things. But again, there was a problem...the truck wasnt big enough to carry everything from the old place. I may have underestimated the volume. However, the team was very kind, courteous and polite. They wanted to help me. They stopped the clock and called Operations for assistance. To which, Andrew who was so nice and professional apologized and agreed not to charge me for the days work AND would send a crew free of charge to complete all of the work that day! In every move, theres drama, but its a moving team that is punctual, professional, courteous calm and dedicated to providing superior customer service...no matter how difficult the customer or the move...because QUALITY is in their name. Its the best experience Ive had with a mover and Ive moved a lot. The true measure of a company and its people is not when everything goes right, but when a few things go wrong. I highly recommend this team and I would use them again and again. THANK YOU Quality Services Moving!

My arrival time was between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. The movers did not call and quote an arrival time until 11:36 a.m. They arrived at 12:00 and took 3 hours to wrap my furniture and move me out of a basement. I had only enough furniture for a one bedroom apartment. The movers were moving at a very slow pace, with no intentions of speeding up. I spoke to them multiple times asking how much longer, in an effort to speed them up. Yet, they continued to move slowly. We did not arrive at my new apartment until 3:00 p.m. I told them that I was quoted at 4 hours for the entire move, and I needed them to move a lot faster to get the truck unloaded. The movers stated that they were moving as fast as they could; yet, they continued to move at a slow pace. It wasnt until I called the moving company to complain and a third person was sent to assess the situation, that the original movers began moving a lot faster. The quality control guy that was sent out agreed that I did not have enough furniture to take three hours to move and load. He began assisting with the move in an effort to speed it along. After the move was completed, the next day I realized that I was missing a shelf on my bookshelf. I called the company and they stated that they did not see it on the truck. So, I now have a bookshelf with a missing shelf. I also realized that the movers did not reassemble my bed properly. All of my beds screws were missing and the support pieces were still taped together, hidden under my bed. Needless to say, my bed fell apart and the wooden pieces broke. I moved on a Friday and my bed fell apart on a Saturday. While the Quality Control Manager did send someone out on a Tuesday Morning to buy new wooden pieces and reassemble my bed, I am just completely frustrated and displeased with the entire move. This was my second time using Quality Services Moving, and it will surely be my last. When Im paying $99/hr. I expect to have the workers moving as swiftly as possible, with no attitude. I also expect that they will do their job correctly, the first time. Next time, Ill just go with another moving company.
