I had a very horrible experience with this particular location (08079). We had reserved a unit over the phone on 8/5/17 for 8/20, at which time we were instructed to come to the office on or before 8/20/17 to select our unit because multiple units were available. I was also told that if multiple units werent available to select from at that time they would reserve one for us. However when we had arrived on 8/19 to select and pay for our unit we were told that theyre were none available for the size that we had reserved. We asked what we had reserved and the manager told us that we had spoke to someone through the 1800 number and they dont manage that locations units. He gave us the option to select from another unit that was $20 more a month. To make matters worse they refused to honor the promotion that was offered to us online even though we provided him with the confirmation email from their company. They were very unwilling to work with us and we were told to "accept what he was now offering or go somewhere else". I will never use public storage again.

I never leave reviews, however, Ive never been so impressed with a companys representation either. My fiance and I were moving down south and just had way too much stuff. We opted to store what we couldnt take on the first trip, here. We kept our belongings with Public Storage for a few months and I must say this was one of, scratch that, THE best experience Ive had during a moving process. The customer service rep, Tanya, was very helpful, patient, and above all continuously assisted in every way possible. Even though I asked 100+ questions she never seemed perturbed, she always responded with a smile and ended with a thank you. If I could give this storage 10 stars I would, to add to the exceptional customer service, the actual office, storage units, and property are immaculately clean.

I went into Public Storage this afternoon looking for general information regarding storage rates and options. Tanya was extremely helpful, informative and explained the entire process. Melissa also took the time to speak with me and review the items and rooms that I would be placing in storage to determine the most cost effective unit size. It also doesnt hurt that the 1st months rental charges are only $1.00. I would highly recommend this location and Tanya to anyone searching for storage options.

Tanya was awesome in helping me find the right size storage, and getting us settled in right away! While i was filling out paperwork, she let the movers back to put everything into storage. Just a FYI.... I love that the property requires a code to get in and a code to get out. Makes me feel like my belongs are really secure besides just a lock.. Thank you again Tanya for helping this process go as smoothly as possible! =)

Tanya, the Customer Service Representative at this location represents the company well. I prefer to pay my bill in the office so when arrive she always greets me with a smile that is contagious. It is very refreshing when I encounter persons that are eager to help me with whatever I need and not make me feel as though Im interrupting their work. Tanya is that refreshing person and I really appreciate her help!

Ive been with Public Storage in Germantown Maryland for almost 4 years. Their courtesy and professionalism is unparallel to any other public storage Ive ever used. Very clean units. To top it off, the Distict Manager himself provided the best customer service on my final day of storage and thanked me tremendously for the time I spent with them. Thanks for the 4 years! Keep up the good work!

She is thorough and very professional and will go the extra mile to help you with your unit in selecting the correct size and making sure you utilize your unit to its maximum potential to save you time and money. I dont usually do review but Marlyn was such a good help. I stop by last week and I was in such rush but I needed details and information about a storage room and she made sure I got all the information and I couldnt explain how appreciated I was of such GREAT customer service. Other people had walked in and she was still capable to manage everything at once . SHE GREAT.

I have stored here for almost 4 years now and have always had a 10x10 size unit. A few months back (after seeing that I was struggling with payment), the property manager suggested I get a smaller unit to save money.
