New A/C and Furnace Installation on 6/13/14 Very friendly and efficient service from Tim and Ray. They quickly sized up the work and discussed the difficult parts of the install. We agreed upon the methodologies to be utilized for relocating the unit and which parts of my home would be altered to accommodate the new connections required by the newer unit. I frequently "hovered" over the various stages of the installation, as I found it both interesting and prudent to oversee what was being done. As I had questions, they were answered with a smile and I wasnt treated as a nuisance. Having never gone through the process I was somewhat surprised at the amount of time it took to complete the work (around 10 hours); however no time was wasted by the install team. Again, very efficient. Having been the victim of a dead 22 year old unit, I did have to wait over 2 weeks to get the work completed. As I write this review, I am pleasantly being cooled by my new A/C unit. The wait time was pretty rough for me, and Larry and Sons attributed it to the supply and demand for new units during the early summer months. Only two issues to report, that I am awaiting resolution on. 1) My humidifier was damaged during the install and a replacement unit is being ordered and will be replaced. 2) An exhaust fan for my fireplace was relocated on the exterior of my home and extensions are needed to feed it to the new location. I am still awaiting a call back and reschedule for the 2 outstanding items above. Overall very pleased with the experience, the attention to detail and the way they addressed all of the intangibles that occur during an install. Thanks for the great work Tim and Ray!!!

If your looking for superior customer service....go with Larry & Sons! We were extremely impressed with this company! Every individual we met was courteous and friendly. They would introduce themselves and shake your hand and put shoe covers over their shoes before they would enter your house! This seems to be a progressive company, that is update to date on and utilizes technology. Mo, our cooling specialist, was excellent! He spent a good two hours at hour house, inspecting what we had, what we would need and then sat down and reviewed our options with us. He had a great visual presentation on his lap top and iPad and was able to give us definitive numbers that day! Then he sat and got to know his customers...great rapport building! Once we decided to go with Larry & Sons the very next day they sent us a bouquet of flowers thanking us for choosing them to do our business with! What?! Wow! What an exceptional way to thank a customer! Installation was provided by John and Tim. John seemed to be the lead and the person I had the most interaction with. Both guys worked quietly, efficiently and professionally. John was very friendly and thorough. He made sure I knew everything was happening, walked me through everything they did when they were finished, and left our house clean and in order. We are very pleased with this company and our experience thus far! Thank you Mo, John and the rest of the team from Larry & Sons!

Charged $184 to replace a simple toilet gasket requiring 10-15 minutes including the time it took the plumber to walk to/from his truck to acquire the part. The charge included $49 for a "service call charge" plus $135 to repair the toilet. My wife did approve the repair after the plumber provided a $184 quote, but I believe he unethically took advantage of my wifes lack of experience in dealing with tradesmen. I certainly would not have approved a repair costing the equivalent of over $700 an hour. Last week I called to discuss the matter and was told by the young lady who answered that I would have to talk with the service manager who was not available. She transferred me to the managers voice mail and I left a msg. Im still waiting for a return call. Addendum 10.22.12: The companys service manager finally called as a result of my online review, stating that he did not receive the voice mail I left. As a gesture of goodwill, the service manager is providing a $50 credit which I consider a fair resolution. Nonetheless, he maintained that the price is taken from their rate book and that the $184 price was the usual price. I recommend that you seek service elsewhere for small jobs where prices may be more reasonable, and get competitive bids for larger projects. Addemdum 10.24.12. Changed my rating to Good from Poor-Fair. Received some nice flowers today from Larry & Sons.

I had a tub which was hard to get in and out of and had no hand bars for safety. I was reading the Herald-Mail one morning and saw Larry and Sons ad for their bathroom redo. I decided to check it out and called the number in the ad and made an appointment with Jason. When he came to the house and asked what I was interested in doing, I explained what I would like done to the bath. He explained the choices in materials, colors etc.. To make a long story short, I decided to go with a walk in shower with sliding glass doors. I also had grab bars installed. Michael and his helpers were very instrumental in getting the job done and took the time to answer any questions that I had. At the end of each day, you couldnt tell there had been anyone in and out working in the bath. I was very, very pleased with the renovation of my bath. Everyone that I had contact with was very courteous and friendly and willing to help. I would recommend this company to anyone that is thinking of redoing their bath. Also, just a note of thanks for the bouquet of flowers I received from the company. It made my day much brighter.

Mr. Rich Lohman from Larry & Sons arrived at our home to perform preventive maintenance on our hot water heater. We made an appointment to have Larry & Sons drain our hot water heater. Mr. Lohman arrived at our home on time early Wednesday morning (24 June 2015). Mr. Lohman completed the maintenance in approximately 30 minutes which included draining and refilling the hot water heater. Mr. Lohman impressed me with his professionalism and the fact that he took the extra time to wipe any residual water that happen to leak onto the bathroom floor. Mr. Lohman also noticed that we had inserted a chlorine tablet into our toilet refill bowl which started to disintegrate the gasket in our refill toilet bowl. Mr. Lohman advised us not to use the chlorine tablet because the community we live in (Hagerstown) already has chlorinated water. Mr. Lohman had taken the extra effort to provide us a very important home owner tip which saved us a lot of money in the future. Larry and Sons came recommended to me and I am very pleased with their service as it was very professional from the Dispatcher (Amy Jo - Who was also very polite and respectful) all the way to the HVAC Service Pro. I needed some HVAC service on my unit and placed the call on a Sunday and left a message for a non-emergency service call. Got an immediate call back after 8 am the next day and scheduled a next day Appt. for Tuesday. My Service Pro (Josh D.) was very knowledgeable, experienced, and willing to answer all of my questions (even the dumb questions). I was walked through the entire consultation and all my options were discussed and priced out and I did not feel pressured. Each step was taken was explained so there were no gimmicks. The task was completed and I felt very confident the issue was resolved and great workmanship was provided. My Service Pro HVAC technician was very polite and respectful and I would recommend this service to the next person.
