Caton Auto Body was recommended through my insurance carrier, and I was told that they would provide top notch service. Never received a follow up call that my repairs would be delayed; after receiving the vehicle back, experienced several mechanical problems. As a woman, they treat you as though you cant possibly know anything. I had to have my boyfriend contact them each time so that service could be provided. They dont honor their warranty, its always somebodys else fault never their work. Tire blew due to a defective tire, but they would not replace it although they put the tire on it, they would not provide tire warranty information. Just a very bad all around experience. Would never recommend them. Insurance company unresponsive, I think they are in it together. Something fishy going on.

Deer hit vehicle. Called Chevy dealer in Laurel and they referred me to Caton Auto Body. Dropped off vehicle on 11/30/12. It is 1/7/13 and they still have not touched the vehicle. They say they now have the parts and will put it in the shop tomorrow, will be another 2-3 weeks before it is complete. They told me it would be ready the 1st week of Jan due to the holiday and them being closed which was ok, but then to have them say thats not what they told me, they swear they told me it wouldnt be worked on until the 1st week of January. Every time I called they gave me a different reason why it wasnt being worked on and why it wasnt ready. So ridiculous! I filed a complaint with the BBB.

Can I give them a negative rating? Hit a deer Sep. 18th. Car went into shop Sep. 20th. Its Nov 2nd and STILL NO CAR!! They dont call you back, dont update you on their work. Feed you lies on when it will be finished and they tried to pull the wool over the insurance companies eyes. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER go to them! They are horrible! They act like they will be nice and quick when you go in but its just a show! I hear that our insurance company as pulled them off their list of auto places lets hope it is true! It would have been quicker and less stressful to fix it myself and I dont know the first thing about fixing a car!

They did the job, but they will be really slow at least a week to replace a bumper. Then probably the weekend and a couple more days. I went here because usaa sends all the work to other places in the area on hwy1, and they are packed and act like they dont really need business. 2 week wait at some, but they will usually be ready to do the work in 2 days, I know because I went to them for other claims-- autobody and glass I think they are called. So if you need to rent a car without insurance it will probably save you to just go to the dbags at autobody, but if you want to start the work earlier bring it here.

Im very very angry about this trash place first people are dummy and Im bring my wife car to fix after 3 months they returned very badly and all over with dust and they even fix one of the mechanical damage and now Chad who supposed ve the manager its a lier I always bring the car back and they keep it for another 3 weeks and returned same and when you ask nicely to please fix it they just hang out. So this is a trash place I even dont choose them the other insurance tell me to bring in and they dont want to get the car fix its a dummy and trash place
