This location is by far the worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul, and Ive used them to move from coast to coast three times, not including local moves. I reserved a truck on Thursday for a Saturday pick up. My problem isnt that they didnt have a truck because two of the trucks that fit my reservation type didnt end up getting dropped off, my issue was with the staff trying to shoo me away when they didnt have anything so they could attend to other customers without resolving my pressing issue. Then the young male tried to dismiss me several more times until he realized I wasnt budging until he started to call to find a resolution to my issue. He begrudgingly called then pawned me off on another customer service representative. Esly found another truck 20 miles away that I could go pick up immediately, but at this point I refused to accept that without resolution of my issue of the reservation guarantee that U-Haul. He stated he couldnt authorize it, and said the manager would be in later. I asked him to call and have them authorize it while I was still there. The manager tried walking him through it, but Esly was still unable to perform the request. He stated that she would take care of it when she came in. This was at 1pm. At 5:30pm I hadnt received any emails from them and I called again speaking to Aubrey. She spoke with the Manager who was busy assisting other customers in the store and she assured me that she would call when she was done. At 6:30pm I called again as I still hadnt been contacted. I spoke to a call center person seeing as no one at the location answered. They sent IM to three people at the Laurel location and said someone should call soon. They close at 7pm. I called back at 6:50pm and still no answer. This place is terrible. The management staff is less than attentive and completely inconsistent with previous U-Haul interactions in multiple states. I will be contacting Corporate Customer Service and the Better Business Bureau regarding this matter.

Im giving a 4star review for ONLY the employee Brandon Wilson. He was a super help to us. We booked a specific truck with a trailer for our car. The truck had not been hooked up with the trailer, and the guy who originally tried to hook the trailer up, couldnt get the trailer brake lights to work. So he abandoned it in favor of helping the other customers, leaving the truck on and running for us to deal with. Brandon was actually trying to assist with something else when I flagged him down for help. He figured out that the trucks wiring to the trailer was faulty so he switched our truck for a new one and hitched the car on the trailer with a detailed explanation. Thank you Brandon so much!!! I hope the other gentleman will see the hard work that Brandon does and strives to serve his customers the same way.

I got a hitch installed for my Camry and the installation was done well before the time that I was told over the phone. The guy who installed it even called and left me a message that the car was ready for pick up. So I thought the service was very good in that aspect. I did need the wiring installed, but they cant schedule a date for that until the part is in. I decided to just get the hitch installed separately since it was already ordered and ready to go (I should have made sure that they had the necessary wiring the date I brought in the vehicle). Knowing what I know now, I would have ordered all of the parts that I needed (e.g. hitch, wiring, ball, and ball extension) before I brought my vehicle in so that I could have gotten everything at once. Overall, a good experience.

Called over the phone and made a reservation for a Saturday morning. I tried calling two days prior to find what time I could specifically get the truck, but no one picked up. I stopped by on my way home and waited 20 minutes in line due to both kids at the desk texting on their phone and continuously getting up and going out front instead of working on the six person line, queued out the door. I finally get to the counter and was told I couldnt get my truck until 1pm Saturday, which is not morning like I reserved. The young kid was incredibly rude and incompetent. He did absolutely nothing to look into the situation and potentially help except to tell me "naw" to every question I had. Between the botched reservation and the staff, I wish I could give it 0/5 stars.

Went there with a buddy to pick up a rental truck he had scheduled about a month ago. There were no less then 30 people in line waiting to either drop off or pick up vehicles. The line of cars extended out of the parking lot and on to Route 1. Meanwhile they had one person behind the counter bringing people up. While I recognize this was the height of the back-to-school season, thats no excuse for not having extra staff in what you know is going to be a busy season. After standing in line for a half hour and not moving an inch, we cancel our reservation over the phone with the U-Haul corporate office and made alternate plans.

I have to say this truck rental is the best I have ever experienced. The truck I rented was literally just returned before I picked it up, so it had not been properly updated in the system. Therefore, the mileage and fuel level was not correct on the contract. After speaking to several employees explaining the situation, the final bill was adjusted. They were understanding and patient with me, as I just moved and was a bit stressed. I definitely recommend this location to anyone renting a truck in the area.

Place states that they email, call and text you but I have gotten nothing. Have left us in a very bad situation for sure. Dont have what you need then try to give you something way smaller....how can you replace a 26ft truck with a 17ft really? Beyond disappointed with the lack of communication. When you reserve something at one location and they say it can be done on the phone it should be done. Like Travis says Avoid at all costs!!

I went there for propane. It did take a while but it was busy but the employees were quite polite and quite patient with one of the customers who was quite frustrated. However, by the end of the transaction the customer asked for that employees card so that they would get good service again. The propane was less expensive there than elsewhere and they list the price on their website.

Schedule and put down a deposit on a hitch installation. I showed up on time and they were unable to install the hitch or refund my deposit. Said they would call. They never did. I called over 20 times, they never picked up the phone. This place is a scam, avoid at all costs! There are plenty of other reputable U-haul dealers nearby, dont use this one!

I rented a open trailer & returned it after about 5 hours of use with nothing to clean. Later I found they charged me with CLEANING FEE. It was OPEN trailer....nothing left on it, CLEAN WHAT ??.

They refused to let me rent a tow dolly for my truck that the website says I can tow my car with, and refused to check the system to see that they had rented me a dolly to do this twice before.
