On September 7th 2016 I was at this site and completed my transaction - moved over to the empty window closest to the exit door to seal my envelopes and return to the clerk who completed my transaction. An Asian employee who had always been friendly, I asked him for some tape to seal the envelopes and out of the blue he called me a liar! I asked why he said this, that he did not know me and did he have any proof to support his statement - he responded no. I asked again why he said this and he did not respond. I reported this to the unit manager on September 8, 2016. The unit manager contacted me by phone later in the day and informed me the employee denied the incident and claimed I told the employee I was an attorney. I responded that I was not an attorney and never made that claim. The unit manager again claimed the employee indicated to him I said I was an attorney, I again told him again; I was not and I never claimed to be an attorney. The unit manager indicated he would speak with the employee again. To date I have not heard back from the unit manager. Being of Asian descent, this incident proved to be a very embarrassing and humiliating situation, essentially, I have lost face. Despite the fact that three other employees and customers witnessed this very embarrassing and humiliating experience it seems the matter is far from being resolved. I will never do business at this location again - no matter how far I have to drive to another unit and considering taking this matter to higher authority.

I am a small business owner. I dont reside in the county, but Ive done business there for over 22 years. On 3/21, I was in the area and needed to mail out a postage paid (Priority Mail) package to a customer. I arrived at this location during a very busy time. As is customary at other branch locations, Im accustomed to leaving my packages on the counter because I wasnt in need of service, just a drop off. When I attempted to do so, the female clerk glanced my way and without touching the package, told me that I didnt have enough postage. I told her that I own a commercial scale, always use the online Click-n-Ship service to take care of my shipping and the postage was correct. I then left the post office. I learned some days later that my package was returned to my mailing business address. I only knew this because my customer notified me that she had not received the package. When I retrieved the package, it was marked return to sender. This woman (Asian decent) blocked my package from continuing on its journey, greatly impacting my business. I confirmed at another branch location that I did in fact have enough postage and the package is now on its way to my customer. I paid for Priority One Day and it has taken over a week because of this one clerks negligence. I will never conduct business at this location again. Because of the actions of this clerk, my rating is actually zero stars, but I have to give it a one star rating in order to post this review.

I have been shipping for 25 years. I go to this post office almost every day for my job. It closes at 1pm on Saturday not 2 pm, and 5pm every week day. People need to stay calm. First with so many new people moving into this area this location handles a heavier work load then it was ever designed to handle, so at times there can be long lines, especially after 4 pm. 2nd a lot of people think they know but they dont know whats what, the post office delivers 99.% of our packages with no problem, that is really good, these complaints up here are one trip and things went bad so they leave a bad review. There is a postal sorting facility 2 blocks away from this location, too often, almost everyday, I see people complaining there package has arrived for pickup but in reality it is still at the sorting facility not at this post office yet, this creates problems with tracking reality. There are some Awesome workers at this post office - Willie is by far the best, he really is a hard working man and knows what he is doing. We ship a large volume every day and we would not go there if Willie was not working there. Ken was an incredible worker, super fast, sadly he has left this location. Maria, Ritzu, Manuela and Happy positive Jenny are very good workers too. This post office needs leadership badly, especially positive motivational leadership. Smiles are hard to come by at this location.

Completed a "Withhold Mail" form for my 4 day vacation. They were supposed to deliver ALL mail on the "Ending date." On the Ending date, on one days worth of mail was received. On the following day, More mail and the Ending date form was received. The delivery was "light" except for the mail addressed to someone on a totally different street was heavy. Unbelievable incompetence. Made me wonder which important mail of mine was delivered to someone else. or in these days of stolen identifies, how this post office may have given someone else my critical information. Tried to call the post office. The phone rang and rang and finally went into the dead phone beeping. Tried calling this post office 5 times. No one answered and there was no voicemail. Everyone working behind the counter at this post office should be fired. Given the similar reports by others on this web site, its hard to believe these guys havent already been fired. Terrible.

Terrible customer service. Just spoke to a gentleman from your location, inquiring about a package that was not delivered because the main office of my apartment complex was closed (this was the reasoning listed online via the usps tracking number I received). I was sternly told that the information I was giving to him was impossible to know because the post office does not give that type of information out. I said Im telling you what I am reading online. I requested to see if I could come in and pick up my package to make it easier in which again I was informed I was not allowed to come in a pick up my package and would have to wait until the they could deliver it again. By far the worst experience I have ever had at a post office. Sorry for trying to be a little more convenient by offering to come and pick up my own stuff.

This is a tiny little Post Office in the heart of Rockville but it does service a whole lot of customers. The lobby area is tiny and the line quickly extends outside in the PO Box space and even outside the building. But the folks working here are efficient (if not necessarily quick). I have been here a couple of times right at 9 AM and they only have one person working the line, which makes the wait time even longer. But what can you do, it is a department of the Federal Government and high customer service is not their forte :)

I normally dont write reviews, however decided to write one due to disrespectful service I just received. This branch requires a serious refresher in customer service. The employees that work on the afternoon shift were rude, unknowledgeable and wasted my time. I had to go home and search the USPS website top get the answers I needed. One employee didnt know how to find a US zip code, and the other employee actually tried to weight and ship my I-phone when I was showing her the address on the screen...
