In summary, it takes me 45 minutes to get to Towson from where I live but it is the closest location to where I live now. I used to go to the Rockville location and Rockville was fine. Towson has horrible management that does not update customers and does not communicate with each other. I will not be returning to this location. The whole story: I brought my coat for alterations on a Tuesday. I was told my coat will be ready Saturday and I will be called if there were any changes. Came in Monday and my coat was not ready. I was not notified that my coat is not ready at all over the course of the week. I asked for my coat to be delivered to Rockville Zips but the manager refused to ship it. I asked for a discount but the manager refused that as well. The manager agreed to see if an employee could deliver my coat to the Rockville Zips location. I get a call on Tuesday that the manager cancelled the alteration of my coat and asked me (on voice mail) to call her back and let her know if I want my coat altered at the store or not since no one can deliver my coat to Rockville Zips. I called the same Tuesday and ask another manager to have my coat altered. The manager agreed to let the first manager I talked to know that I want the coat altered and promised that I will be called on Wednesday. I come in Wednesday to the Towson Zips location, which no one called me Wednesday, to find my coat has not been altered. I asked for my money back and left (over a week and my coat not fixed!). Pretty much Towson made a mistake of telling me when the coat will be ready but did not notify me. It takes me 45 minutes one way to get to the Towson zips. I will not be returning here as management is bad and lacks communication skills.

I put my new jacket in Zips for dry cleaning because it had leather lapels and I did not want to ruin it by cleaning myself. My jacket was returned to me damaged with a note: "received in damaged condition" which isnt true at all. Think about it...they inspect everything before accepting garments. If the lapel was damaged, they would have seen it and not accept it for service or have you sign a disclaimer statement. It was new and in perfect condition when dropped off. There may be reviews loving the quality just to make the true reviews less significant - which is they are terrible. Do yourself a favor. Be smart do not use them. The other jacket placed with Zips looks like it is 20 years old and not pressed. Ive lost an expensive jacket but gained a $2.29 refund. At Zips, clothing has a great chance of being ruined and /or not cleaned properly at your expense. Also, read the back of the receipt. They release themselves of all responsibility. Its your problem, your fault!! Being in media, I will be sharing this experience with my listening audience!

I was so excited that a Zips had opened near my home. A jacket was missing from the first batch of clothes that I brought in, and luckily I had my original receipt in hand. It took them over 15 minutes to find the jacket. On my second pickup I did not have my receipt, but as soon as I got home I realized that a suit jacket was missing. Called first thing then next day and I was told that they would look at film to see if they could find it put in bags. Never received a return call; called back and was told "no, your jacket is not here" Went in today and the manager (who originally told me she would check the films) let it slip that she never checked the cameras. So my Jones of New York suit is now only pants...but more importantly, I was lied to from the very beginning. Im waiting on a call from the store owner, will update if he ever calls.

I am very displeased with the service provided at Zips on Taylor Ave. Two items have been ruined. One, a white dress with slip underneath cannot be worn again because Zips lost the slip (the over laying is sheer) and another item (a favorite blouse) has been ruined due to dye run off. If the item could not be cleaned Zips should have advised me. Each item I had worn only once or twice. Zips declined to accommodate me for either one. I did not necessarily want a monetary refund; they did not even offer a free cleaning. I work in customer service industry and I can tell you, they are certainly lacking in that department. Zips could certainly use some training. I hope the owner reads this review and takes it into serious consideration. Thank you.

Was a recent new customer of this cleaners after moving to the area. I took my winter coat to them to dry clean, they tried to return my coat to me completely ruined. The around the seams and the pockets along with the patches on the sleeves were turned to a rust color and my coat was Black when they got it. Now, they are not answering my requests for compensation for the item. I tried contacting the corporate offices and still no reply. If I dont get restitution soon, I will do whatever I can to discredit this company. You should be fore-warned not to take your clothes to them if you care at all about getting them back in good condition. Please tell your friends and family.

This place is the worst they will ruin your belongings and will not honor their replacement policy. They will try to blame you for the problem. They will not call you to resolve the issue but will pass you off to corporate who will not help you. I was told by the lady at the front desk that they used chemicals on my jacket and they would try to clean the jacket before the can refund me for it but when i talked to the manager she claims that i was misinformed. They still have my jacket but will not compensate me for it. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CLOTHES
