dishonest cheaters! AVOID.. I had just done myself the fronts less than a year & 12K miles ago but needed my rear breaks done. I asked for them to look over the entire car but knew I only wanted the pads on the rear done. so when he called for the estimate he confirmed that the rears were to be done but also suggested the fronts. I said they should be fine but he said there were spider cracks (nice & scarry adjective no?) in the pads and would not gaurantee the whole job front and back unless I did all of them.. $600 later! I said NO, just the rears. A few months later (today) I took the same car to Meineke. They said all my brakes were FINE! & that the fronts were not even half worn. they were squeeky because I did not choose the ceramic pads which allow more dust & tend to squeek more! much more useful information you think? I am defintely taking my brake jobs to Meineke (reading) because they are not out to steal my $$

MAKE SURE THEY UPDATE THE COST OF SERVICE -Once I saw the price for Midas I called several people to tell them the cost, which was absurd, but the guy at the counter, hearing me complain, had to re-calculate the payment because he said THE SYSTEM AUTOMATICALLY OVERCHARGES Went in at the end of Nov for problems with my heating and cooling system. Midas told me they repaired and replaced my thermostat housing and gauges. System was still not working and had to take it to my mechanic several times since. Turns out that the mechanic at Midas never repaired or replaced anything! They just cleaned the outside of the part so it looked new and sprayed some sealant in the system to stop any leaks, but that only caused more leaks in other parts of my car and caused my car to overheat. I almost blew my engine, and could have been severely hurt because of the shotty "work" they did there. DO NOT GO

Went to get an oil change and tire rotation with a groupon. Staff was very friendly and office really clean for an auto shop and not the usual cluttered mess you get at you neighborhood garage. Comp tea, coffee and soft drinks in the lobby. I was told it would take about one hour and I was able to drive right out in 55 minutes. They also did a comp safety check and best of all they were very honest and did not try to sell me anything that was not necessary. They said I needed new wheel caps but agreed it was just cosmetic and not necessary and even recommended I could get them way cheaper at Autozone than at their own store.

Came to Midas here in Malden, walked in and Isaiah had a great warm welcome even though there were about 4 people waiting and 1 customer being a burden. He understood everything I needed to get done even though autozone was being a pain and got his orders all screwed up He kept everyone calm. It look like things could of turned south for him but he had everything under control within 3 and a half hours he had everyone out the door with no complaints and also stayed late to get my brake hose fixed. Great customer service they will def get you fixed up patched up making your car brand spanking new.

Last week went to this center to fix couple of dashboard lights of my car - srs and check engine. They fixed my srs and reset my check engine light. For this much only they charged $150!!! and moreover, they recommended me hell lot of other things to be replaced from my car, estimated nearly $1500 !! I just dont digest that they charged me so much just for a checkup... I checked with autozone, they do this sort of checking for free !! I am just now freaking out of this, I wish I would have never visit this center...

I had my car dropped off for an oil change 2013 Nissan Sentra and was told 2011 and up require full synthetic oil. Which normally a sports car would require. I called a Nissan dealership and was told they do not even use synthetic. Therefore, I was lied to. Now if I had not know any better I wouldve been overcharged about $35. I called for a quote for brakes in the past and they charge twice as much as anywhere else! BEWARE!

It is a place only for oil change, not repair. I usually visit them for oil changes, and also replace the break once. They did well job on that. My bad experience on repair: My car was leaking engine oil, I brought it to them first. They said around 1000 and not sure they can fix it. I bring to Pauls Foreign car repair, they fixed it very well in 600. Midas doesnt have enough experience in Fix, they only know basics.

I usually go to Mono Muffler and Brakes but they were swamped today and asked me to come back tomorrow so I brought my car here at Midas. What a great decision! I was able to get my brakes and calipers replaced with them beating Monros price based on a Monro receipt from a year ago! Even better they were able to do it in less than two hours so I can go to work without squeaky brakes, safely tomorrow.

My car muffler was broken and I went to Midas Malden . Its was a little job , even not took 30 minutes . They charged me $199.00 labor and 69.95 for part and tax . Its not fair. I mean who get paid $200 per half hour. Funny isnt it. Better go to somewhere else or even dealership wouldnt charge that kind of labor. I am not happy with the money they charge. Will never go there again .

I had a oil gasket and steering belts replaced plus an oil change. It cost me around $700. Less than a month later my car is still making the same noises as if the steering belts are still cracked and my coolant and oil are really low. I dont think they ever did the oil change but they certainly charged me for it. I dont trust these guys and wont be going back.

I was an oil change walk in at 8:30a. Isaiah at the front desk was cheerful and personable, and he went above and beyond to get my work done quickly. He told me (not dutifully, but authentically) that if he won a billion dollar Powerball, he would still be working there because he has fun at work every day. I was out the door by 9:30a.

Very disappointed with the customer service. We were told the vehicle was to be ready at 2 oclock and when I arrived at 2:30 I was told that it was going to be another hour. I never received a phone call with a heads up with the change. I should have anticipated this after reading the other reviews.

After several trips I have decided never to return to this Midas. They do not take your car despite making an appointment and do not communicate the status of their progress well at all. A dishonest staff was responsible for breaking my dipstick and not telling me about it.

Horrible! Called and asked about part availability. Told to drive over, part definitely available. Arrived and they claim they dont have it in stock. Computer error. And they were rude about it too. Consider hiring people with some knowledge about cars.

Brought my 0w30 mobile 1 oil and asked for filter only but oil change service was refused saying that recommended oil is 5w30. They should know that sports cars respond better to 0w instead of 5w recommended by dealer.
