I brought my car here in July of 2009 for a state inspection and my experience was awful. They came out and told me I needed a headlight replaced (which I hadnt known), two new tires (which I suspected, and was why I went to a tire place for the inspection) and that I needed the drivers side ball joint replaced. I wasnt going to have them do that work, so I accepted their big red R sticker, left and called my dealer. Two state certified inspectors assured me there was nothing wrong with the ball joint. I bought new tires from them, and replaced the headlight myself and went back to Firestone to have it out with them. The same person was working and I told him two other mechanics claimed their was nothing wrong with my car and he had it brought back in to the bay. Shortly thereafter he told me they would not pass my car because the ball joint indeed needed to be replaced. He went so far as to bring me into the service area where my car was on a lift, walked me over to the drivers side where he showed me that when he applied pressure to the tire "there was substantial give" indicating a need to replace the ball joint. Then he walked me to the passenger side to try to demonstrate that there was no give on that side and failed miserably at proving his point because both tires reacted the exact same way to the pressure he applied (which is to say neither one of them "gave" at all). I argued against this ridiculousness but they still refused to pass my car. I took it back the dealership and got it a new sticker in about 20 minutes. Incidentally, I have had it inspected two other places since and have passed both times without anyone ever mentioning my dangerous ball joint in need of repair. These people are scumbags, rip off artists and rude to boot. I wouldnt go back there if they paid me.

BIG LAIRS,bad customer service, they never stick to there words, very rude not all of them but few,I would never recommend any of my friends to go there,Firstly they show huge prices and make us feel like they are giving us good discounts, but eventually we will end up paying at least 40% more.Apart from that what they say is different from what they do,I clearly have seen my car inside the garage for almost two hrs and no one was actually working on it,after sitting for 5 hours when I asked one of them they said me it was taken for a test ride but the fact is it was well inside the garage.Second time when I went to get the brakes done I was told by Rob like the brake liner was broken because the guys who installed my wheel studs bent the brake liner and asked me to call them to get it done from them, when I called the guys who done my car struts they said they will speak to Firestone and will get back to me,Dont really know what there understanding is this guy Rob from Firestone totally changed his words and now told me it was just because of the rust and not because of the other guys who installed the struts, btw the guys who have done the wheel struts are Monro in Framingham. At the end of the day they made me look like a fool,to be honest these guys in Firestone (Natick) are definitely not trustworthy.I will also mail the head of the Firestone and will share this rough experience I had with these guys and also will stop all my friends going there to avoid bad customer service and high prices.Above all they make you wait till you totally loose your patience.

I completely agree with Sam, the other reviewer. These guys are cheats and thieves!! I had purchased a Lifelong Wheel Alignment package from them. I went to get this done for free. Now, they had to somehow recover costs...They said my rear lights were out and had to charge $20 to fix it. It sounded innocuous so I let them do it. In hindsight, I remember they did this last time I took my car to them, but I never learnt my lesson. I gave them permission to fix it. Car alignment was ready, I was driving back home. It was sunny, so I looked for my RayBan sun glasses in the glove box. When I took the case out, I see the case is empty!!! The glasses were gone!!! I had used these glasses just before going to the Firestone facility, so I was pretty sure they were there. How clever of them to just leave the empty case because any customer will only glance the glove compartment and assume the glasses are in there. I know they have a policy of owners responsible for any valuables, but I never thought they would swindle customers like this!!! So in one visit which was supposed to be free, they cheated me off $20 for lights which I was sure were not out, and glasses which cost $100, total $120! Never ever go to this facility. These guys are crooks.

I made an appointment for new tires online and after dropping the car off got a call from Doug. Unfortunately the $82 tires I ordered are not in stock so he asked to use a better brand for the same cost. I was glad to approve the change. About 20 minutes later Doug and I chat again as his guys found the chronic fluid leak in my transmission, he was ofcourse asking to run to diagnostics and recommending I take action today. I had lots of questions as a girl not familiar with auto care but proud this is the first car that I have own for more than three years without a fire incident. I agreed to pay for testing and 30 minutes later Doug called to let me know that the loose clamp was isolated and tightened resolving all leaks. I was out the door with two top of the line tires, a fix transmission leak plus an alignment for about $300 after labor. I am very satisfied because my vehicle was property taken care of, Doug was fun to work through these issues with, all in about two hours on a Saturday. Doug and Ed I look forward to my next oil change.

I called in advance to find out if they would be willing to sell and mount a single tire on a Subaru AWD that had been switched to Front Wheel Drive. They said to come in and "well see what we can do" When I got there I explained how an AWD Subaru can be switched to front wheel drive by the insertion of a fuse (Google this), and that I had already switched the car over. The salesman, Alex, said he would ask if this is allowed. He asked, and they said they could do it if I signed a waiver. Alex then proceeded to give me a quote for a single tire, and a quote for 4 tires. He kept trying to up sell me to the 4 tires. When I stood my ground, he asked someone else who works their if they can sell me a single tire, and they said no. He clearly never had any intention of selling me what I wanted. So dishonest.

These guys are a COMPLETE RIP OFF, if you have a old car (say 2001 - 2005) and take it to them for state inspection, they come back saying a big list of repairs, if u say youdont want to do any of those right now, then almost after 30 mins they say they cant pass the state inspections, unless and until I do atleast some of them. And the thing here is none of the things they say is actually required(because after taking the car to other actual mechanic, got to know that it(parts told by firestone to be replaced) is completely fine. these guys at Firestone , Framingham think that customer is fool and doesnt know anything car and will go with whatever these guys say, they try to sell you and its a complete rip off BEWARE, AVOID these guys.
