Thanks to the mechanics and custmer representatives at Firestone I am probably still alive. I took my truck in for a fuel filter replacement and they asked me if I try to change the fuel filter myself and I responded no the Pep boys guys did last night. The mechanic took me to go see what was done to the fuel filter and the lines. Sure, enough the fuel filter was bent out of place and missing a nut. I was so shock and disappointted at Pep boys. I brough my car in Pepboys for a fuel filter replacement and I waited for three hours to find out that they coulnt replace it. The reason they gave me was that it was to0 rusted, "Sorry". (Even other customers in the waiting area were confuse about it. What the Pepboy guy "forgot" to tell me was during the proccess of replacing it one of their mechanics bent the fuel lines intakes to the fuel filter and it was leaking gas.While driving home the car was acting weird. It turned off at a stop light and wouldnt want to turn on. Finally, it did. So, I drove home and luckly did not burst into flames. The next day I went to Firestone full car service and sure enough the mechanic show me that the only way to bend the filter that way is because the mechanic use a wrench and forcely try to torque the fittins out. Which looking at the filter it totally made sense. What type of bussiness treats customer that way. Thanks to the mechancis at Firestone my car is working properly now and with confidence I will always take my car to them for any type of service. Great custmer satisfaction at Firestone.

Dropped my car off with a flat tire on a Thursday and asked them to give me a call when they figured out if it was repairable or if I needed a new tire...after not hearing from them over the weekend I called Sunday morning to check on the status...after being put on hold for some time the man came back on the phone and said the car had never even been looked at!!! Apparently it had been "lost under a pile of paperwork." How do you lose a Mercedes that has been in your parking lot for 3 days? They took it in and discovered that it needed a new tire, so they ordered it and said it would be ready by Tuesday morning. I went in today and they said they still didnt even have the tire and nothing was done! Come to find out the tire they had ordered was coming from Lynn...10 minutes down the road! Why wouldnt someone go and pick up the tire after I had been waiting for 5 days for it! I understand that I would have to wait that long for a transmission issue but not a tire replacement. Enough was enough, I took the car to the Mercedes dealership and only had to wait 1 hour. I have been spending my own money to commute to work via the T this week and have struggled to get transportation home when I could have been driving my car the whole time. Unacceptable.

Busy place. I went to repair a tire, first an employee that seemed to be rushing said they didnt take my insurance for tires and just rushed out of the customer service desk again , I went back to my car and called the insurance company and they had me come in and ask the manager again. The manager said they can work with the insurance company so they took my car in. Took them 1 hour and 40 minutes to tell me that the tire was not repairable. I saw 3 people getting their oil change and other stuff after me, I was the last one at the shop and finally when I looked through the window I see multiple people at the shop but none with an answer about my car. Almost 2 hours with the tire already on their hands for them to tell me "its not repairable" Didnt get any service done, but I feel that there is a lack of communication from employees to customers, so thats why I am giving it a 2, because of the lack of customer service.

Liars! Never lived upto the expectations any time I went to service. I gave them innumerable chances but all they care about is making money and ripping people off as opposed to really caring to serve. I warn you guys to take a second opinion before committing anything. Mail me for all the details where they have failed miserably. Some Examples: (So they go look up on their computers before replying to this comment and expose more) Brake service - Failure (false promises and dubious promises) Battery Service - Failure (Battery died within 2 years after dubious promises and charges) Oil Change( I tested them. I did an oil change two weeks before another and they complied though they have all the records on the computer - such rip offs) Always over-priced for oil changes Among a lot more other things..... My husband and I borrowed my fathers jeep wrangler to go to New Hampshire Hampton. Mind you we are from Rhode island. My husand that is also a mechanic told the store manager that all the jeep needed was one Caliper (rear-left). Anyways they had the balls to say the jeep needed brake rotors and brake pads. It took 4 1/2 hours to "wait" for parts. Really??? So after wait forever my husband asked for the rotors, pads he looks at them they were fine. They didnt need to put new rotors, pads we waited for nothing. So I do not like Firestones they are bunch of rip offs.... They also left trash in the car.

My experience with this shop is very positive. I serviced there both of my vehicles (oil changes, tire changes) and have no complaints whatsoever. I visit them at the early am hours and the waiting time is very reasonable. One thing I want to point out is that they seem to conduct a very honest business. At least on two occasions they advised me to refrain from unnecessary at that time serivice (alignment after a free check) even though I was ready and willing to pay for it.

I went and got an oil change two days ago. The next day (yesterday) I noticed there was grey smoke from my exhaust and loud idling. Today my oil light came on. They forgot to add oil perhaps but certainly damaged my car. I will be asking for a full refund snd for them to pay for the trip I now have to take to my mechanic tomorrow. PS Dont all the other reviews sound like tbey were likely posted as a personal favor by a friend of an empmoyee.

Went in to get ONE tire changed nothing else! Made a 1pm appt by 1:30 car was still out where I had parked it. After notifying them of this they placed car on a lift where it remained unattended to for the next HOUR!! They kept telling me someone was on it ; I was watching through the glass there was NO ONE working on it! LIARS!!!! Will NEVER GO here again and you shouldnt either. 1 1/2 hours for one tire, really!!!

I have never been so frustrated and angry at an establishment in my entire life I cannot even think right now. Do not EVER go here. I spent so much money. So so so much money, but never another red cent from me for the rest of my whole life. There is one girl there who knows what she is doing but the rest are barely functional.
