We had a problem of water leaking in the basement of our new home. Called Roto-Rooter on Sunday afternoon and a technician was at our home within and hour. He could not fix the problem but scheduled an appointment for first thing on Monday morning. Andy showed up on time and diagnosed the problem as a clogged sewer drain. He quickly unclogged the drain and showed me that roots had grown into the drain pipe and scheduled a water evacuation for Tuesday morning. While he was at our home I asked him to replace some cast iron with PVC. He did an excellent job and had the project finished by noon. He was extremely professional and took me through every step of the procedure. As an added bonus, Ron showed up on Monday afternoon instead of Tuesday morning to solve the root issue. Again, very professional and went over everything with me. On Tuesday, Matt and the clean crew came to remove standing water and to wash and apply an anti-bacterial treatment. This was critical since we have HVAC work scheduled for later in the week. Again, very professional work. They even sweep up dust on in areas that we not effected by the leak. When they were there I meet with Mark to discuss lining the sewer drain in order to eliminate any future problems with root growth in the future. Mark showed me a video of the sewer drain and were future problems could occur. Lining the drain will eliminate these problems and comes with a lifetime guarantee. The liner will be installed next week. Service was top notch and the technicians were very professional and answer any questions. I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter if you have any drain service issues. I give them 5 Big Stars!

I called for a backed-up sewer that had flooded my bathroom and seeped into the cellar below. Someone arrived in a couple of hours. He knocked on the sewer pipe that runs along the wall and told me it was totally backed up and it would be best to give it a few hours to drain before opening it because the pressure of a full pipe would send the sewage spraying all over the cellar. I was happy to wait, because someone (not Roto Rooter) once had not waited and left me with an even more disgusting mess to clean up. This man told me someone would come back late afternoon, but didn’t tell me there was a four hour window (4-8). The next fellow didn’t actually show up until almost 10 p.m. I know they can’t tell how long each job will take, but it would have been nice if someone had called me to let me know they hadn’t forgotten about me. Anyway, once he came, all was well. He was very nice and was able to pull out a big hunk of tree roots from the pipe. I should be set for a few years. The next day someone from Roto Rooter called and talked to me about putting a liner in the pipe to prevent this from happening again. I haven’t decided yet whether to spend the money, but I am happy to have the information so I can make a decision in the future. Other than not getting a confirmation phone call, I was satisfied with the service. Everyone I have dealt with has been professional and friendly.

I called Roto-Rooter for a clogged pipe that caused damage in my basement. The very nice and pleasant man who answered the call told me a serviceman will be out within the hour. Ron(#5592) showed up within 20 minutes and he had diagnosed the problem within 10mins. Ron told me it was a city sewerage problem and to contact the city. The city took a while to show up to unclog the sewerage drain to complete the job. Due to the back-up in the sewerage drain my pipe was still clogged. I called Ron and his shift was already completed and he was off the clock. I had no idea what I was going to do with a flooded basement and clogged pipes. Ron went above and beyond. He returned back to my house with his equipment and completed the job without complaining. Ron was pleasant and explain everything in detail what he was going to do during his service visit. Ron is a very professional hard working man. Roto-Rooter should be proud of what services he delivered even when he was done with his shift. I would recommend this servicemen receive an award or some type of recommendation for his outstanding services. Thank You Ron for everything and all the hard work you put into this job.

I cant thank Roto-Rooter enough for sending Ronnie to my house. I was getting ready for a vacation and my tub drain was clogged. thinking it was a simple fix, my husband tried to snake the drain himself only to make things worse. So i called Roto - Rooter for help. Ron came and did his thing trying everything he could to free the drain. He said he couldnt get through and something was blocking it. He was getting ready to call another tech for help but I think he saw the look of dismay & disappointment on my face because he said I am going to try this one more time. I am not sure if it was the prayers I was saying or his expertise and determination, but the drain finally cleared and the water flowed like a brook in the mountains. I cant thank him enough for being persistent when others may have given up. Roto-Rooter you have a great technician (#5592) Ron, who is an asset I hope you appreciate. I certainly do! I highly recommend the great service and experience from the technicians and reputable company of Roto- Rooter.

The only reason I am giving this company 2 stars is because the person who actually did the work was friendly and able to complete the job. That is the extent of my satisfaction with Roto Rooter. I scheduled an appointment for a Monday morning between 8-10 with a call to be made 30 minutes before the plumber arrived. They called me at 9am and told me they were behind and it would be another hour and a half. I waited the hour and a half and received another call stating they were further behind and it wouldnt be until sometime in the afternoon. Due to work related restrictions I had to reschedule for the next day. The next day they arrived 20 minutes after my scheduled time. They also charge a flat rate and tell you the price when they arrive. If flat rates are charged then they should be quoted when you make the appointment. Was I supposed to say no after waiting 2 days for them?? They charged $429 for a simple kitchen sink drain unclog and were there for 20 minutes at the most. I will not be using Roto Rooter again.

After 10 hours, I got my kitchen sink and bathroom sink plumbed. BUT< the bathroom sink was leaking the next morning? They did some out a another tech. He he found a seal was not placed correctly. And the sink was now draining very slow. He ran the power snake through it. That fixed the bathroom. BUT> The next day, now the kitchen sink was stopped up. SO, another tech came out. He found that when the sink was plumbed the drain pipe had not been snake out. I guess you are do this when installing new plumbing to old pipes? So, he power snaked it and now all is good for now. I paid a lot for this. It seems overpriced to me. But, they did come out the two times and fix the mistakes for free. All the techs were very nice, Gary, #777 started the job, and Sergey #2016 came the 3rd time and Sergey I do not have his number came out the 2nd time. UPDATE: I received two phone calls about this problem. Kevin the northeast manger has agree to comp. me to help with this. I believe this was very fair and now I am happy customer.
