On 8/31/13 I called the 800 number to rent a storage unit. The only unit meeting my needs was at the Dearborn location. I needed to determine how far this was from me and whether or not I was interested in this location. They said they would hold it for 7 days. As soon as I hung up the phone, I got a call from Heather in Dearborn. She wanted to know when I was coming to look at the unit. I told her I had just hung up and didnt know when I would be there. She persisted in asking me when I was coming. I told her I didnt know my schedule at that time. She was very pushy and I stated to her that I felt like I was being scolded. She replied that it was good customer service. I let her know that I would call before I came So that someone would be there. I did make an appointment to view the unit. Heather was on duty when I went to see it. At this time she was friendly, so I was willing to overlook her rudeness on the phone. On 9/6/13 I called to tell them I would be in the next day to fill out the paperwork and pay the first month. I told her I would call in the morning to let her know what time I would be there. On 9/7/13 I called in the morning and spoke with Dottie letting her know I would be there at 4:00. She said that was fine. When I got there, the door was locked and no one was inside. I looked at the sign that tells when they will be back and the back side was displayed. I left a message on their voice mail telling them that I had been there at 4:00 and they were not so I was leaving. They did not call me back. No explanation, no apology, nothing. This is HORRIBLE customer service!!!!

Heather made the process of finding and reserving a storage unit during a long distance move a very quick and easy process. She was very helpful in answering any questions I had along the way and made me feel confident that her team at Public Storage would be able to assist in safely storing my belonging despite any difficulties in scheduling of cross-country movers. When I arrived at Public Storage Heather took the time to walk me and my husband through the storage facility and demonstrate how to access our unit and made filling out the paperwork to reserve our unit a breeze! My unit was clean and very easy to access and Heather was great about letting us know that she’d be available to help if we had any questions or concerns in the future. I’d highly recommend this storage facility!

I just wanna say you can tell Nina loves her job. she was so fun & upbeat & that made my dads move so much easier. we were not even going to store with you guys because we sat at Allen Park location for almost 2 hours after we called & said we were coming in & waited for someone to show. After that my wife told me to go to the one in Dearborn & that is where everything changed. I mean we walked in super snotty & bad attitudes blazing & Nina even flirted with my father lol, someone like that is hard to stay mad at. she was quick even with someone being rude to her she didnt miss a beat. when we left we were in a better mood because of her service. thank you Nina, & sorry about the attitudes!

Kristine was very helpful in explaining the documents I needed to sign to transition the account from my sister. She handled everything professionally with a friendly and warm touch. I know Kristine has done this hundreds of time, nevertheless, she wasnt presumptuous. I was pleased to be serviced by her. The environment was extremely neat, as well as, the actual storage units. I know that any further questions I may have will be handled properly and to my satisfaction. Kristine exemplifies customer satisfaction. Even Tazz liked her personality!!!

Ive been with Public Storage for 2 years now. I havent experienced anything but quality service and professional staff. Everyone there is very helpful to my needs, even going above the call of duty to support in any way they can. If not for the property manager Heather, I would have left months ago because of Public Storages policies and restrictions not being geared towards businesses and our needs. However, Heather and Dottie help to circumvent a lot of my issues with the overall system. As long as this staff is there, Ill be there!

I recently moved from another state which was stressful. When I finally arrived, both of the ladies greeted me and were so friendly. Stefani was ready to assist me with my unit. We went through the necessary paperwork. She made the process go so smooth, which is what I needed. She picked the perfect unit and it fit everything in it perfectly. She even called to check on my move today, which made me feel so good. I usually dont complete reviews but these young ladies deserve it. Keep up the great customer service.

This location has the best customer service! Nina assisted me, she was very patient and understanding of my situation and the urgency of me getting a storage unit. I had a house fire Monday and she did whatever it took to make sure i left as a happy and satisfied customer. She even stayed pass the closing time until i was complete. NINA YOURE THE BEST AND THANK YOU SO MUCH, YOU MADE MY SITUATION A LITTLE LESS STRESSFUL! I owe you LUNCH!

The Public Storage facility located in Dearborn is extremely Clean and Safe. My family and I have rented storage units at the Dearborn location for years and we have always been happy about the way weve been treated and felt confident about storing our belongings there. Heather has been unbelievably helpful and kind whenever I had a question or needed help finding the right unit for my needs. I fully recommend this property.

Went into the location last week to check on pricing for a unit. Which they did not have the size I needed but the lady Trina was very helpful and asked if I would like her to check at other locations to see if they had a unit available. This location is very convenient to me so I wanted it here so I told her I would wait. She is a very nice women and hope she is there when they do have the size I need.
