Every year this time, my mail goes missing. Most recenly our retirement information, several credit card bills and a letter from our insurance company to my doctor giving her the ok for further treatment have not arrived. Im told they were mailed - some early last week. Where are they? Kids tend to steal mail from rural mailboxes in spring and summer, hoping to find cash in high school graduation cards. Sometimes they throw any remaing mail in the road (which is helpful since we usually get it back from one of our neighbors). I dont know what happens to the rest of it. In past years Ive called the post office and state police - but they seem unable to do anything about the situation. I also get mail belonging to my neighbors quit often. I try to get it to them ASAP. A nearaby resident has the same street number and similar last name. Ive delivered their mail numorous times. I called them ask if theyd received ours and got quite a rude reply. So who knows if our mail is ever forwarded. One time I received a womans complete medical records - she lived several miles away and there was no similarity in name or address. So, here I sit - waiting for the letter from the insurance company so I can have my knee fixed. My husband had to cancel a meeting with our financial advisors because our information is GWTW. I recieved a letter telling me "I did not have to report for jury duty as the case was dismissed" - which is good because I never got the summons and might be writing this from jail. Online everything is in my future.

The Victorian Needle
We just moved to the area, and I am not impressed at all. I had received a "sorry we missed you" notice in the mail. Except, it wasnt in my name it was in my significant others name, and was given to him. Otherwise I would have taken it in earlier. When I take in the notice, the woman seems incredulous that I brought it in. "Its been two weeks," she says, as if I cant read. No apology, except for a blank glare. I get one notice for a package in my fiances name, and Im a day late on getting in to the post office. I look to see empty space on the shelves. In contrast, Ive lived in other cities where they sent multiple notices and kept packages a few days longer. So much for a small town community atmosphere. Not only do I have to drive out of my way, I now have to repay shipping on a package that was not left in my name for some weird, post office reason. Seems like it could be worth less stars.

Many of the employees at this post office are very rude. Multiple times they have told us that we should not come in when we are mailing out large numbers of packages. They told us we should do it online and begrudgingly put stickers on all of them. If we want to come into the post office to send out 15 packages then that is our choice and we should not be shamed for having more than 10 packages to send out. I have been sending out hundreds of packages for over a year in bed too many post offices. No other post office has been so upset about having to send out more than 10 packages at once. This is the only post office near me so I will have to keep using them but if I keep receiving attitude than I am going to have to speak to their Postmaster General.

Ive had good experiences with the Holly Post Office. The clerks are always friendly and dont try to rush you while youre there. Not sure why others have posted negative reviews. Probably better that those people do go online instead of seeing them in person.

Called at 1:15 on Saturday. The office was closed. Says on here office hours are 6 to 3:30. Just wanted to let everyone know in case they are planning a trip to the post office.

Personable and 90% competent and awesome. There is one clerk who is... Not quite up to par. But, all are very friendly. Very crowded around Noon and 3pm most days.
