I took my car in for a full inspection after it had been in storage for 2 years. Since I recently had a terrible experience with a couple of other mechanics, I was skeptical. However I was pleasantly surprised to find that Don at E & L service did an extremely thorough job not only inspecting the vehicle, but also providing a thorough, clear, written itemized list of necessary repairs (including a checklist of all items that checked out "ok"). I much appreciated his fair inspection price as well. He was kind, patient and thorough in answering all my questions and explaining the overall situation. An accurate, complete and honest vehicle inspection is more important than we realize. Although I live quite far from the shop, I believe its worth the drive. Great job E & L!

I think the service at E&L is excellent. Here are the reasons why: **The staff and mechanics are friendly and engaging with the customer. **They will give you an honest assessment of vehicles needs and will show you what service work is needed when the vehicle is on the hoist. **I feel they offer fair prices on the work they perform on your vehicle. **They offer a use of a loaner car while your car is in for service (Big Benefit) **They will follow up with a phone call to see how your vehicle is performing after they completed their service work on your vehicle. **Always have time to get me in when I need work done on my vehicle; they always make time for me.

From start to finish I just felt really taken care of. Martys speed picking my daughter and I up, figuring out what was wrong with my truck and getting us off the highway while being so friendly and making us feel at ease despite our predicament, was just a Godsend. Then Will hauled us all the way back to Lansing from Lapeer with the same easy friendliness. They really made what was just the worst day feel like it was not something I couldnt handle. They even got me home in time to make dinner for my kids :). Hats off to these wonderful gentlemen! Thanku!

My son got our truck and trailer stuck in mud on the side of the I69. I called E&L just before 1am and the lady that answered the phone was very pleasant and reassuring and got help on the way without any fuss at all. The truck was at the site in less than 15 minutes and he was safely back on the road shortly after that. I would highly recommend this service as I found them not only professional, prompt, and reasonably priced, but they also seem to be genuinely nice, caring people. As a mother it was a relief knowing my son was in good hands.

My 95 Saturn had no reverse, and after replacing the valve body, no change appeared. I took it to Ron to look at it. He loaned me their Aztec so we could get around while the car was at his shop. After a couple of days, Ron told me that in order to fix the car he would have to replace/rebuild the transmission, but since it would cost more than the car was worth he didnt recommend it. You dont find too many auto repair shops that will do what E & L Service did in this case. They are honest and great to work with and I highly recommend them.

Your towing service is great, I had an issue with this tow due to a miscommunication I believe with your dispatch out of Port Huron. Since I have done tows with you before I knew the information as to why they couldnt tow me was incorrect. So I had them contact one of your drivers. Will called back right away and got it straightened out, Thanks will for not leaving me on the side of the road. I will continue to use E & L in the future.

office is clear and direct. drivers are seasoned and have been able to preform above and beyond expected duties. excellent employees and company. 4 years of odd tows.they have moved heavy machinery, buildings that came off trailer in roll over as well as expensive high end cars no one wants damaged. this is who you want to help you when it counts. i recommend e and l to any one who asks. this team is best around HENRY ETHIER III

Great People to work with. This is not the first time I have used them. I called to set up a future tow (next day), they scheduled it and took care of it for me. I had called three others in the Flint Area... "we dont schedule that far in advance". What!? I should have called E&L first, but I was thinking that it was not in their service area. Don Was fantastic to work with, kept me informed and had our best interest in mind. He worked hard to find a good used transmission for my sons Mini Cooper and sent two back because they werent as advertised. Once we found the right transmission it was installed quickly and correctly. I would definitely recommend E&L Service to friends and family!
