My experience is that I had my brakes completely replaced in fall of 2014 and by August of 2015 my brake pads in front were completely worn out. The brake pads in the front had previously lasted four years, and, were not completely worn out then. I had them replaced by Speedy Auto in 2014 and four years previously. When the pads went bad this year I heard the typical squeaking sound coming from my front brakes. I took my truck to another Speedy because I did not trust the one I had been to a year prior. They had not explanation as to why these pads were needing replacement after 11 months. The only explanation is that the pads were not replaced in 2014 when I paid for them to have them replaced. I am now in the process of filing complaints with all licensing and regulatory agencies, legal departments on state and local levels, and filing suit in district court. I have already contacted to local police department. Adding injury to insult is that Speedy has absolutely failed to respond to this complaint, after several emails and letters to the person supposedly in charge of the stores in Michigan.

I called them on Monday to schedule a time to come in on Saturday and get my oil changed and tires rotated. The guy on the phone simply said, "Just get here as close to 8 am as possible." so it sounded like they didnt take appointments and did just first come, first serve. I show up on Saturday later than I expected and the guy said they wouldnt be able to get it in today. That was fine. I was late. But I asked if they took appointments and explained that when I called on Monday they didnt even make an attempt to make an appointment. The guy starting copping an attitude with me and THAT is when they lost my business forever. When someone calls up asking about a time they can get in, that means they want to give you their business. Dont act indifferent to them.

I can not say enough good things about Bill and Dean at the Speedy 3484 Highland Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48328. I was desperate to get my car going and tried have a friend install a new starter in my car after they diagnosed it. Well the car didnt work after he installed it ,turned out the new starter was bad and my friend didnt install it correctly. Without any hesitation first thing in the morning Bill was able to get a brand new upgraded starter delivered, and they went to work and helped me out. I will NEVER go anywhere else to get my car fixed. If you need people you can trust THIS Speedy is the place for you. Incredible service... incredible people.

They tore chunks of paint from the valve cover on my cars engine by putting it in a degreasing solution. When I complained to Phil, the manager, he acted as if it wasnt a big deal saying the car was 22 years old. I do not accept that: 1. They should have told me of the "accident". 2. They should have restored it to the same condition they received it by offering to re-paint it. The way it was done, the message is clear: We dont care about your car, just your money. UPDATE: I received a call from Speedys Manager and they re-painted my cars valve cover. Not like new, but much better. I also received two tickets for free oil changes.

They ROCK! Been in for various services in need over the last 5 years or more & they know what theyre doing. They are thorough, friendly, and KNOW what theyre doing there. Its a rarity Ive found but a few businesses where people know what theyre doing & show you great results at the same time. This is definitely one of the few that I know of. Ive gone there directly for those things commonly needed like brakes, oil change & struts. Never any glitches in their work, like others Ive been to, and they tell you or show you what they did for you. Ive referred a couple friends, and Ive only heard the same. They ROCK!

Worst place ever. They should have negative stars, they obviously have their friends write reviews for this place. I took my car here when it wouldnt start and was told it would be over $1200 for cleaning the entire break line and that a bunch of other stuff needed repair! I almost cried. I took my car to Aarons Auto for a second opinion and the guy there cleaned off the battery clamps and sent me on my way.....that was all that was wrong. THE BATTERY WAS DIRTY! My break lines were fine! I couldnt believe this place had lied to me like that. NEVER GO HERE.

I brought in my buick century to have the radiator looked at, and when he got done he said well your gonna need a sway bar and rotors soon. so were like we havent had problems with that before, so we ignored it. then like a day later the wheel bent in and all this stuff with the tire happend. they ruined my car on purpose. i hate that place. and my coolent problem still didnt get fixed. my life was down hill from then on. all because i was carless afterwards.

The staff at this location is wonderful! I have been a loyal customer for 5 years. Bill gives unbeatable prices and always accommodates my schedule. Last time I was in, my heat cover (?) was falling off and almost dragging on the ground. Bills crew fixed for free while they were doing an oil change. Only $19.99 for that oil change. 3 years ago, Bill dropped me off at work when I needed to get my car fixed and didnt have a ride. Great guy! Great place!

GREAT staff!! My car broke down in the middle of the street and the mechanics came out and pushed it into their parking lot so it woudnt get hit, and then diagnosed it for free. When I told them it was under warranty at the dealer, they told me to wait in their air conditioned waiting room until the tow truck showed up. They were super nice even though I wasnt having work done there. The next time I need a mechanic I will definitely take my car here.

Integrity is the name of the game at this professionally ran facility. Unneeded repairs can be costly and dangerous.I have been a faithful customer at this location for over ten years, and I would not trust my automotive repair needs to anyone else. If you are looking for an automotive repair facility that will tell you the truth about your vehicle then look no further!! I would recommend the Waterford Speedy auto service center location to anyone!!

Called to make an appointment to get my breaks repaired. Bill was able to get me in first thing the next morning. My car ended up needing a little more than new breaks and rotors, however Bill and his team were able to complete all the repairs same day and they walked me through every step, showing me exactly what was wrong. I do not feel like I was taken advantage of and will be back!
